NO availability at the Disneyland Resort hotels for
Labor day weekend? I know it is an EXTREMELY popular weekend, but we booked last year about 4 days before and were able to get in at the Grand Californian for Labor Day Wknd. I just tried it online, haven't called... not serious about going that weekend but have it in mind since it's my birthday. Is the system just down or do you think they're completely booked out?

You might get lucky and find a last minute cancellation. Try other hotels around the area as well. The HoJo sponsors MW and they give discounts if you call the direct 714 number. - ScooterMike

We had the same issue... Its my Birthday too! Love having a 3 day weekend on my bday every year. We decided to book for the weekend AFTER... still availability for that weekend after labor day (sep 8,9) - cabbie_grl

Also there's some kind of convention in anaheim on sept 1st so all of the hotels were booked that day. I didn't realize that the half marathon was that weekend! I guess i have tons of crowds to look forward to - angelle

I'm sure it is because of the half marathon at Disneyland that weekend. People travel from all over for the run. There is also a health expo for the friday n Saturday. - foursunshine
