Let's talk parking. What are the pros and cons to parking in the Woody lot vs parking structure? Which is more "child friendly?" We always park in the Woody lot because it seems like there's more walking in the structure. Not lazy here...just have one in a stroller.
i always do the structure. i did the toystory couple times and did not like it at all. but that was awhile back it might have gotten better since. i think for stroller it might be better then the structure though. - Hendizl

There is a lot of walking at the structure. We usually choose depending on the size of the stroller and how well it folds up. It can take awhile to get one of the seats on the tram where you don't have to fold the stroller, plus it can be a hassle to squeeze the stroller between the bench seats. The bus from Toy Story lot allows more room for the folded stroller and has air conditioning, which can feel like heaven after a hot day at the parks. - duckymomo

Well I used to go to toy story parking lot a lot but sometimes I would walk as much as the structure. To me the bus shuttle takes forever to get to the park and parking. It's like a ten minute ride. Or sure feels like it. The pros of it is the AC on a hot day. And it loads fast even on a busy night. Although once I waited forever to load to get to the park. It's a hit or miss. I parked there again during potential riots because I was scared lol - MarshaMouse

Honestly it depends on when I'm going to leave, if I plan to leave prime time, then I'll do toy story, if I'm going to leave earlier then structure - MarshaMouse 2871.2 #15 9:45AM
agree with marsha, tho i will add i park at toy story when i know m&f will be packed like early in the morning or right around 5 when people get off work and go to the parks. most people go to m&f as their primary parking spot - Radius 501.4 #238 9:48AM
If I'm solo, I love structure because there usually is a space available as u walk up to tram going and leaving the parks, so to me it's quicker in that situation - MarshaMouse 2871.2 #15 10:16AM
I prefer the Toy Story lot. I feel even though the actual bus ride is longer than the tram overall we get to the park faster just because we dont have to wait in the tram lines. And my kids like taking a bus! - kellyhansen78

After years on M&M, we prefer TS. We were able to drive right in, no long lines.Got out of the car and never had to walk far. Fast and efficient. The busses are pretty constantly loading. AC is awesome in the summer :) - HandMeAChurroImmaFaint

We prefer the structure during the day (we usually arrive for rope drop and it's fairly uncrowded) because the car stays in the shade and doesn't get all hot. Then, when we come back after our mid day break, we use TS lot because it's quicker and easier to leave with the nighttime masses - Spoonful_O_Sugar

Toy Story, I like because of the shuttle, less walking and AC. I don't like it because it seems to take awhile, and I sort of get nauseated from the shuttle lol. M&friends, I don't like walking too much, especially after a long day. But usually when we go later in the day when the parking attendants aren't there, we're more likely to get a spot closer to the escalators, and not at the back end of the structure. Also another pro is that on hot days, the structure keeps cooler than TS, since that lot is out in the sun. - MEHlanie_Mouse

My husband wants to know if there is security at both. We haven't used the parking at DL ever, since we usually stay w/in walking distance, but will this time as we are staying a little too far away to walk. - toniasmith
