I have a query...and all opinions are welcome. My husband and I usually go to DL for 2-3 days for our anniversary in October. We get tickets for MNSSHP. This year we are dressing up as blue fairy and Geppetto. Here comes my question. We usually Judah with a sitter, but he has been wanting to wear his Pinocchio costume every day since I made it. Should we bring him with us??? In the end, we'll go with whatever makes the most sense for us, but I wanted to hear your thoughts. Thanks guys!
Yes, take him with you. 😊 Your anniversary is a celebration of your marriage, and he's the product of your marriage and love for each other--he makes your costumes complete! You can always take an adults-only trip at another point during the year, or you can just have a nice little weekend at a closer-to-home bed and breakfast or something and celebrate your anniversary together a different weekend. - Spoonful_O_Sugar

He would have a blast my son did last year. We was 2 at the time. We are going again this year and it is all he can talk about. I will admit that he was out cold for the fireworks - mhpoker

Is it possible to have him go to the party with you guys and have a sitter for the rest of the time? I think couples definitely need grown up time so if it's possible this might be a good compromise. - aidensmama

You know in the past I have brought my sons baby sitter with. I paid for the hotel room and park entrance that way you could have the best of both. He can go to the party and you still get your alone time with hubby - mhpoker

my idea would be if you are friends with another MW family, bring him, and trade off on who watches the children if you know anyone that well. or if you can add a family member to hang with him while you two are off doing other things? not sure if you could do this but it would be fun to have him with you for some of the time, but if he cannot handle 3 full days, only you know that!! - secretagentangel
