Blue Bayou. This past weekend my husband and I took his mother to the Blue Bayou for dinner, it was her first time ever there and she absolutely loved it, she even shed a few tears when we first told her that's where we were taking her because it's something she always dreamed of. It wasn't our first time but it was the best. We always get the same plates because they are absolutely delicious! My husband got the Cajun-Spiced Salmon and I got my usual Bayou Surf & Turf. What we usually do is order this, I get the lobster (it's really good but super tiny) and we split the Salmon and the filet mignon. I am not a big red meat eater but when it comes to the Bayou's filet mignon, I must have! I say if someone is not planing on eating here more than once (just like my mother-in-law) then I say go all out, go for the Bayou Surf & Turf, it's that delicious!
