The ending of Peter Pan where Mr Darling remarks about seeing the Jolly Roger flying by. Saddest yet hopeful quote of that movie. Sad because obviously he went to Neverland but came back to grow up. Hopeful because he didn't fully forget the experience despite growing up and therefore Neverland doesn't make you forget everything. - shadowgamer
