I am coming to Disneyland this week. I have a friend who is a CM. Can he get me a fast pass for RSR or are CMs blocked out for the summer
CMs are not blocked from letting people into the park this summer (except Aug 20-25). However, CMs cannot let their guests in until 10am. This makes sure that paying guests and pass holders are able to get first pick of RSR and WoC fast passes. Single rider for RSR is always a great option. I hope this helps! - thelittlestmouse

Single rider is deffinately the way to go! My husband and I ALWAYS do single rider & have even gotten to ride together anyway in that section (last time they couldn't find a group of 2 or 3 to fill a completely empty row, so they took 3 single riders & we go to sit together. Me too! I've riden RSR about 5 times and have done single rider everytime! Overall average wait 45 minutes compared too 2-3 hours..we have ourselves a winner! - nickb92 69.6 #3463 12:45PM
