** UPDATE ** Today (Aug 8) is the last day to register for a chance at these pins!!!***For all you pin collectors: a new collection of 15 limited edition pins called "Car Show at Disneyland" will be released on Aug 17 at Disney's Pin Traders in Downtown Disney. Characters on the pins range from Oswald, Dumbo, Jessica Rabbit, and Mike and Sulley!! However, the only way to purchase any of the pins is to be a chosen recipient (only 250) of a random drawing on August 10. You have until Aug 8 to register at http://tinyurl.com/blhdjxx I should also mention, for those that get to participate, the pin artists will be available to sign!!

Do not know the exact time, but I'd imagine it would start first thing at store opening because the 250 people will be allowed in 3 shifts (100, then the next 100, then last 50) depending on your winning email instructions. - Willierose 1194.2 #68 5:52PM

So here's the deal with buying the pins. I just got the email saying I was selected. You are allowed to line up one hour prior to Downtown Disney opening on the 17th to get your wristband. Then the pins will be available for purchase by people with wristbands until 1:00, then I believe they will be released for purchase by other people. That's how I read the email. Emails are not transferable and you have to have an ID to get a wristband. None of this will apply to me as I can't call in sick to work to buy pins. Bummer... - LaneSparrow316 846.9 #108 10:41AM
