Hi all- a question for all you runners. I missed the sign up for the Tinkerbell Half Marathon but still want to participate in the festivities. I've never been to a Disney marathon before and was wondering if the Family Run 5k is still a good idea. Is it geared more towards kids or is it more of a warm up? Thanks!

The 5K is good for all ages. And I'm pretty sure it's entirely in the parks. You get to go backstage too. - MXPrincess399

We are doing the half marathon at DLR that is in less then 30 days (eek!) and there is also a 5k happening that day as well. I could try to get some info about the 5k's if you'd like. I think when you register for the 5k you also get a twlight ticket to the park... Or at least the 5kers in September do. - Catten5

The RunDisney web site has a lot of information about all the different events. You can even participate in a Cheer area (it does cost money)or you could maybe volunteer. - PrincessLeia
