Question for all...I am creating gift baskets for my cousins first trip to the parks in march! I want to include either Disney Dollars or Disney Gift Cards so they can pick out their own prizes when we get there...which do you think is better and why?

Disney dollars because you can make it rain. If you buy a gift card you'll probably just smack someone on the head. - chris.  2507.3 #24 8:13PM
I say both! I like plastic and paper 😄 - gigibunny2  242.7 #1079 10:34PM
I say card. - LaneSparrow316  846.9 #108 10:45PM
card is easier to handle, no change and $$$ can be addedto it - HandMeAChurroImmaFaint  1798.9 #42 8:15PM
Bump...now I need a tiebreaker! Anyone else have thoughts? - diamondangels  132.9 #2548 10:27PM

I vote gift card. Easy to use and track. Also, if it gets lost the balance can be used w receipt of course. Dollars are way to cute to spend. What else did you put in the basket? I'm lookin for some ideas. - 559MickeyLover  266.9 #856 10:55PM
I put a shirt for each of them with their favorite character to wear in the park, Disney water bottles, autograph book and pen and a small plush of their favorite characters. I'm going to add the card/dollars and I think I'm going to get them each a pin. I will probably put some other inexpensive items as well for the trip like Disney coloring books, games, etc! I'm still working on other ideas too...I want it to be very special for them!! - diamondangels  132.9 #2548 11:21PM
I think gift card too. But I would put at least a dollar for each of them in there and tell them it's a suviniour ✨✨✨ - Singh2011  178.8 #1879 8:10AM
Sack of quarters so they can make it hail. - shadowgamer  1954.3 #37 10:57PM
Not sure how small of bills they come in, but maybe you can do a small amount for souvenir purposes with Disney dollars. Then the main amount that you wanted to give on a gift card. - Fanatic4Disney  258.0 #925 10:58PM
$1 is the lowest denomination. So maybe a $1 each for the scrapbook (or whatever) and the rest on gift cards? - bluefairy  627.1 #174 1:03AM
Card... I have a lot of Disney Dollars and can not spend them because they are do cool! LOL - Boundin  425.2 #299 11:04PM
I do gift cars for my kids. I even got them personalized with their photos and they are reloadable. And if they don't spend the entire amount at Disney you could always use it online or at your local Disney store. Disney dollars only work at Disneyland, I believe. - keal1205  204.4 #1563 6:56AM
Yup I get gift cards all the time for ^^^these reasons - annamichelle  176.9 #1906 2:44PM
Thank you all for the input! I think I'm going to go with the gift card for their baskets and then I might but them the Disney Dollars when we get to the parks! - diamondangels  132.9 #2548 7:34AM
