Hello all!!! I am thinking if splurging To stay at the Disneyland hotel for my birthday in October. I've wanted to go all my life, is it worth the 250 a night??? Any advice is much appreciated!!
Hello fellow october baby:) while I'd love to stay at the DLH, I just can't justify the price. For a place to get dressed and sleep its too pricey for me, especially since I discovered the retro rate at Hojo and name your own price. - GoofyMom77

Thank you for all the advice! I tried to book hojo. They are booked for all of October due to the mickeys Halloween party. Darn I'll just have to stay at the Disneyland hotel. Wink wink. - weg4th5

I have NOT stayed there but I have stayed at the other two and LOVED IT! At least do it once and be the judge. I like the Grand with my husband but when with the family I like Paradise Pier. I live just 20min. from the park and I have done it a few times even for one night. The ambience is different and the CM try to make it special too. It's worth $ for the attention to detail they provided the time we stayed. If your looking for a place to sleep and not enjoy the amenities the hotel provide then stay at the surrounding hotels like HoJo ( haven't had the chance to stay there). I like the Disney magic to fallow me but this is my opinion hope it helped! Keep us posted! - Pixietink

You are paying for the convenience, the ambiance, and best of all, the EXEMPLARY SERVICE. Isn't that what you always pay for? - iloveprinceEric

Omg, YES! I went for my bachlorette gathering and absolutely loved it. There is so much details in the room. The headboard is magical. I want to go for my anniversary in October. Best of luck. - adventurerEnDisneylandia {AED}

I stayed there on one of our visits and I decided the extra money was not worth it to me, but you have to decide that for yourself. You will always wonder. You should try it once to see what you think. You will enjoy it, you will just have to see if the price is worth it again in the future. - VanDisney

Totally worth it in my opinion. 🙌 The Grand is beautiful, but the DLH can't be beat for the whole Disney experience. Love the monorail water slides at the new pool, the headboard and the CMs are the best!! - mousekepuggie

I'm an October baby too. :). I'd say if you really want to stay at the dl hotel go for it. Set aside some money for the next few months to make the burden lighter. - aidensmama

Yay! I'm an October baby aswell along with my girlfriend. We'll probably be stayin across the street on Harbor for a few days @the Carousel, I love using Kayak or The negotiator to book my hotels, the name your own price does help out if your planning on staying more than one night and if your on a tight budget, only downside is the random hotel. - sandiibelle
