So here is a question. What do you think is the saddest part in a Disney or Pixar movie? Mine has to be in The Lion King where Mafasa dies.

Definitely when Cinderella was running away from the ball and left her glass slipper. A perfectly good pair of hot heels wasted because she didn't turn back to get them. Makes me wanna cry...but then it all works out, i guess. Although, if a guy was THAT into my shoe, he might be better suited as a shopping buddy than husband. Dunno... I've read about them shoe fetishes.. - FindMeAtTheCove  237.3 #1136 12:46AM

The part where there is never a Father Figure in a movie :( - PrinceTeaJack  785.8 #118 6:23AM
In some of the recent films there has. Hmm I can think of a couple but I think you are right, they don't really show fatherhood in most films. - gigibunny2  242.7 #1072 6:37AM
For teajack- (thought i hit reply but guess not) Tangled did, they showed how the king never stopped searching for his daughter! And I do believe that princess and the frog did too and lion king with simba and mufasa, little mermaid. I do believe they all showed some sort of fatherhood in it. - Disneymomab  15.1 #5649 6:52AM
true Those movies did but its never long enough for them to last throughout the movie.. Princess and the Frog-dad is gone 2.Tangled - Dad doesnt show till the end 3. Liong king - Gone after stampede And actually youre right about the little mermaid Oh and Nemo.. OK Ok so there are some but for the most part its always the mother.. - PrinceTeaJack  785.8 #118 7:11AM
I find the beginning of Wall-E so sad. I want to go rescue the little guy. - JSparrow1911  26.0 #4577 7:15AM
Alien : Resurrection when the baby alien screams mother while it is being sucked out that little hole in the window. - Lelundrial  339.6 #430 7:17AM
Great now I will be thinking of this all day and be sad.... - PrinceTeaJack  785.8 #118 7:28AM
The part in Cars when they show Radiator Springs back in the fifties. Everything is clean and there are happy cars with huge tail fins. Then the interstate comes and everyone is sad because nobody stops. - ScooterMike  1959.8 #35 7:42AM
For me, There are some movies that makes me cry. One of them is the Lion King! Whether the original 1994 release, the 2011 3D release, or the Lion King Musical, it makes me cry! Maybe the soundtrack and the story touched your heart! - otilegna  853.7 #106 11:41AM
I will add also the segments from Fantasia and Fantasia 2000. For the original Fantasia (1940), the Rite of Spring segment where a dinosaur was killed and eaten by the T-Rex (for those people who pass by the Primeval World Diorama at Disneyland Railroad,,, THAT IS THE SEGMENT, all based to Fantasia!... For Fantasia 2000, i will say the Firebird Suite segment, where Sprite revives the forest with her tears after its destruction by the firebird (the segment can be seen in World of Color, the green segment before Pocahontas) - otilegna  853.7 #106 11:45AM
That is like an impossible question there is so many Disney movies that has sad parts - DLR_Fan  223.4 #1311 11:56AM
