#Retro Day: I may be breaking the retro day rules but these are not Googled pictures. These came from a book my Mom bought in 1963. I loved the Plaid and the old Rocket to the Moon pictures!

These pics are cool and fun to see no matter where they came from. The pic in the lower right, is that Mission to Mars?? I vaguely remember riding it and I think that's what the inside looked like. - MsStarlite 201.6 #1599 11:58PM

I believe in 1963 it was called Douglas Rocket to the Moon. Mission to Mars is in Epcot. - AKMouse 376.5 #364 12:06AM

Ahhh ok. I just remember being inside that round chamber and that the ride was sponsored by McDonnell Douglas which was the company my dad worked for. One of the few rides he ever went on with us! - MsStarlite 201.6 #1599 1:19AM
