I probably would have taken mads that young, just so I didn't miss out on a great restaraunt. I took her to my fav nice restaraunt all the time at that age, although if she got too funnsy I'd get the rst of my food to go so I didn't dusturb people. In my mind it would depend upon how rare a treat eating somewhere nice like this is for you. If you get to enjoy fine dining on a regular occasion, and, worst case scenario, you had to leave mid-meal so as not to disturb other guests, would it be no big thing, or would it be a heartbreaking experience? Also, you know better than we how long and well you are able to occupy/distract your child.
