This is going to be a bit sappy, but I really want to share. The past few years of my life have presented a lot of challenges, but these past few months have really made a big difference. Disneyland and MouseWait have both played big roles in my life lately. I may not be very active here, and I know I don't make much of an impact to anyone, but I finally feel like part of something, and that means a lot to me. Last month, during a meetup, I rode all four mountains, and had a blast! I've ridden them a few times since on solo trips, something i never imagined I'd want to do. That's significant. I've always struggled with fears of not being in control. Being able to just let go of my worries and let myself just enjoy the ride was a big deal. And it's so much more than just a few rides. I'm learning to face my fears and not to let my anxieties get in the way of living the life I want. I'm doing better socially, and next month I'm going back to school to start a culinary program. It's a big step for me, and I'm terrified, but I'm also feeling confident that I'll be just fine, and it feels good. I want to share my thanks with all of you, for making me feel welcome here.

I'm super proud of myself. Definitely do it! They are fun. Matterhorn was kind of uncomfortable so I probably won't do it again, but it's not scary to me anymore. I'd done the others before and was so terrified of them that it wasn't fun. A simple attitude change was all it took to just enjoy them. - brit-brit 298.3 #616 9:17PM
I can relate 100%. The people I have met on Mousewait have taught me how to have fun again. - ScooterMike
