In honor of Disneyland's birthday (and me feeling very homesick) let's relive some of our fondest memories at the happiest place on earth... share with us one (or some) of your favorite memories in Disneyland!

4. Winning the RAK (2 minutes before another MW showed up) - first encounter with ScubaSteve028, 3. Sword in the Stone - first encounter with rbeezy, 2. Sweeper Train - first encounter with iPoca., and 1. Gazebo - best encounter with crustle... what do these all have in common.. Disneyland is the place I met my closest friends. Those are forever-memories. - LaTruce  2367.2 #71 12:37PM
Stealing a RAK from me on our first encounter is one of your favorite memories?πŸ˜‚ - ScubaSteve028  835.5 #236 12:45PM
LoL... no, the actual encounter... which led to this... awwwwwwwwwww-meow. - LaTruce  2367.2 #71 12:51PM
lol! many of my fondest memories involve both of you. πŸ˜‚ great times guys, such great times! - crustle  782.8 #260 1:03PM
Awwww! The gazebo!! You and Crustle are so romantic πŸ’—πŸ’—πŸ’— - rbeezy  703.0 #298 9:35AM
The first time I was able to take my wife and all four kids to DL. I would have to say is my favorite memory so far - Plutoin702  15.7 #8812 3:38PM
yes!! great times to come! - crustle  782.8 #260 4:47PM
Wow super cool its soo pretty love it - arabianites22  30.4 #6244 12:37PM
My favorite memory was watching the Main Street Electrical Parade with my Mom by the castle when I was little. Also all of the time spent with good friends at the parks, as well as solo time roaming around Disney into the wee hours of the night. Thanks for the memories, Disneyland😊 - ScubaSteve028  835.5 #236 12:44PM
awww mini scubasteve and scubasteve's mom! - crustle  782.8 #260 1:04PM
i have two amazing memories! 1) i danced in the macy's day parade with corbin bleu in disneyland a few years ago and i will never forget such a unique and awesome experience! 2) My boyfriend and I went last year as a birthday present for him and it was his first time in DL. It was such a great experience for both of us! - noelleybelly  172.8 #2441 12:45PM
oooh that's soo cool! - crustle  782.8 #260 1:04PM
All of my fondest memories involve bringing people to Disneyland for the first time! I took my high school boyfriend to DL for the first time and all my cousins from Indiana to DL. One of my friends was in the marine corps and he had never been when he got out of basic I took him and one of his friends to DL for the first time. I think there is something magical about taking people to Disneyland of the first time. Oh wait then there was the time when we had a family reunioun. My grandfather was a Disneyland when it first opened (not opening day but opening week) it was so near being able to hear his stories about Disneyland and the memories he shared there with his family. - Flyingtoneverland  188.1 #2226 12:47PM
yes!! first timers are always fun and definitely soooo much fun reliving disneyland through older family member's eyes. - crustle  782.8 #260 1:51PM
nothing will ever beat our first trip for fond memories. Mads being terrified on snow white's scary adventures, her first time meeting Ariel, when she got a necklace from capt Jack, and out first times watching fantasmic and WOC will forever be glued to my memory with the most amazing of sentimental feelings. - madsdad  1868.2 #99 1:14PM
aww! a necklace from capt jack?? CoooL!! those shows, world of color, fireworks, magic memories and you, fantasmic... always part of my favorite memories with my cousins. we would go annually so when we did, it was sooo special and those shows made them great! - crustle  782.8 #260 1:49PM
Trading at TOT mystery box and getting a Villians 1, Cruella De Ville Vinylmation, with her artist card! ... That just doesn't happen. πŸ˜„ - BambooMike  133.8 #3071 1:14PM
yes!! awesomeness!! - crustle  782.8 #260 1:23PM
Even though my dad and step mom are divorced now, one of my favorite memories is watching my dad purposed to her by the castle during the fireworks. For a moment the whole world stood still and I got to witness it. 😊 And honestly the best times have been the ones I've spent with you guys! Thanks for the memories! - AshleyLynn22  791.2 #255 1:52PM
Awwww so sweet!!! - BubbaLoo  870.6 #227 2:06PM
Disneyland always brings us to happier times, though things may have changed, there are still cherished memories we hold near and dear! we never got to meet but I hope we get to soon! - crustle  782.8 #260 9:08AM
I agree! 😊 I can't wait to meet you one day! Don't forget if you ever need someone I'm always here for you! - AshleyLynn22  791.2 #255 3:43PM
My favorite memory is two linked together! About three and a half years ago, my boyfriend and I spent a truly magical day at Disneyland together. That day was the first time we said "I love you" and we had a special moment behind the green elephant that used to be in the Gibson Girl. Last year for our third anniversary, he took me back to that elephant, gave me a promise ring, and told me that he wanted to be with me forever! Disneyland is a very special place for us :) - BelleintheTARDIS  258.8 #1337 2:16PM
awww that is soooo beautiful! I wish you both the best!! - crustle  782.8 #260 5:43PM
favorite memories? any time i went there with my mom before she died..  also one instance during my honeymoon. was talking to Stitch at innoventions with my (then) husband. (also, his name is jake.. and i'm a HUGE wrestling fan) so stitch looks at him and asks his name. he then goes "jake? like jake the snake roberts? i bow to you". and he bowed. i started crying so hard!! lol - ministrychick77  296.5 #996 2:23PM
lol! awesome memory πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ - crustle  782.8 #260 3:18PM
My dad taking my sister and I on the tea cups when we were kids. - ScooterMike  1963.0 #92 2:26PM
lol! sounds like fun times! - crustle  782.8 #260 9:09AM
My first MW meet up which I hosted, in front of TOT. I was extremely nervous because I didn't think anyone would show up so needless to say, I was super happy to see Jen, Mark and JR walk up and say they were there for the meet up! It is one of my favorite memories I've had at DL/DCA. I met som pretty awesome MWers at my first meet up and I'm so happy and blessed to call them my friends! :) - PrincessMacy  536.5 #417 4:50PM
agreed! some of my fondest memories are with MWers, I will forever cherish those and the ones to come! MW really does add a new element to the Disney experience! - crustle  782.8 #260 5:40PM
1 of my fondest memories of disneyland is walking through the gates with my 3 yr old daughter hand in hand both of us experiences our first disneyland trip together and watched her eyes light up we made our way to find tink and she finally met her and started crying as she wrapped her little arms around tinks neck and told her "Im so glad u here" We've been hooked ever since.  - DisneyMe2Death  875.0 #226 4:52PM
awww such sweetness! that's so great! she'll cherish that with her forever! - crustle  782.8 #260 5:41PM
13 years ago...taking my 4 yr old daughter on her birthday. 1- we went to to City Hall and she got a phone call from Mickey wishing her happy birthday (priceless look of surprise) 2- she got the birthday button with her name and all the CM's wished her happy birthday by name. ( she was so surprised). 3- during the Parade, Mulan wished her happy birthday by name from high on top of a float ( near perfection...) - Tomorrowland  103.9 #3627 5:52PM
awww that is precious!! I love the time and attention CMs and Disney characters take to make everyone's day sooo special, especially the little princes and princesses - crustle  782.8 #260 10:00AM
Seing Disneyland through my then 9 months. The joy of riding Dumbo when she turn 1, then 2, then 3. The horor of taking her to "the scary adventure of Snowhite" as the first ride for the day. Why didnt we think of that? Anyway... So many firsts. First time we found out our daughter loves roller coaster rides. First time we saw daddy turned green in DCA ferris wheel. What isnit called again? I'm blanking out.. What did you do? You just opened my memory vaults.... Thx - beachbummouse  3.7 #27354 10:01PM
opening the memory vault is fun sometimes, especially the Disney memory one lol! Mickey's Fun Wheel or Wheel of Death in here lol! these are all great memories! - crustle  782.8 #260 9:05AM
My favorite memory is the last time I took my niece to eat at Ariels Grotto and she finally got to meet face to face her favorite princess Sleeping Beauty. The look on my babys face was one of surprise and awe that thankfully I captured in a picture. She couldnt believe that after 8 yrs her dream came true of meeting her face to face. What made it even better was that the princess danced with her and took a lil bit longer time talking to her because at first my niece couldnt talk! It was like the bestest day ever. She cried happy tears after that. Bless all those CM that have brought a smile to my princess face. - ScarfGirl  644.8 #333 10:13PM
awww that's sooo sweet! way to go Disney characters on bringing joy and happiness to kids, their families, and well everyone! - crustle  782.8 #260 9:07AM
The two meet ups I had for my kids birthday where you guys all sang happy birthday to them. Most of you never saw but brought me to tears both times :) Taking my kids on their firsts trips. Finally spending an anniversary and my bday at the parks was amazing. To everyone that sang Happy Birthday to me. You guys made my night :). Finally meeting Admin and his family last night and for him and his wife to say they love my pictures was awesome :) - RickChavez  3672.1 #45 9:11AM
There are also so many things I've done with my kids throughout this year. Many of you have lived them with us either through here or at the parks :) - RickChavez  3672.1 #45 9:12AM
I sooo wish I could have been there for your kids' birthdays! but I am soo glad I was there to sing you happy birthday! I love your family Rick! always great times with you guys and it makes me sooo happy that you and your family share your great Disney memories with us! - crustle  782.8 #260 9:27AM
Hey what about the night you got to hang with me!!! Lol jk this is super sweet!! - CourtyAstroBlisters  808.0 #247 9:38AM
Of course that night too CAB! There is just too many to list them but you remember me saying that has been the most I have laughed on any Disney trip :) - RickChavez  3672.1 #45 9:44AM
Taking my daughter for her first time when she was eight. We had lunch at Ariel's Grotto. When Snow White came to the table she cried so hard she couldn't even speak and couldn't finish her lunch because she was so excited. Also my nieces reactions to Tinker Bell flying over the castle.  - LovePiglet76  39.2 #5489 9:40AM
tinkerbell over the castle is amazing! the first time I saw dumbo was sooo exciting for me! - crustle  782.8 #260 10:49AM
One of my fondest memories at the Resort was bonding at The Grand with you and LaTruce. The extensive walking tour of the hotel grounds as well as exploring the various towers of the Disneyland Hotel in the wee hours of the night will forever be part of the moments I cherish. Just talking, taking pictures of the architecture and displays, getting freaked out, they are all lasting memories. If it wasn't for MouseWait, I never would have met you two. Maaaan I miss you Crustle 😒 - rbeezy  703.0 #298 9:53AM
I miss you soooo sir! and that was an amazing night! I'm glad I got to share it with you two! - crustle  782.8 #260 10:15AM
Oh going to Disneyland for the 72 hour party for Star Tours. Going New Years Eve to bring in the new year. And just recently hanging out with friends from NorCal - hawaiichick52  261.9 #1307 9:58AM
cool! that is one thing that's definitely on my bucket list.. new years eve at the happiest place on earth! - crustle  782.8 #260 10:20AM
My (recent) most memorable happened a month or so ago when our six year old son, JC was finally able to ride Screamin'. The kid had his hands up the whole ride and even hammed it up for the camera (I walked him through the ride and showed him where the camera was). We rode it seven times that day. This is one of the few pics I've ever purchased and it hangs alongside the Space Mountain pic that we also have of us. - SergZak  3125.8 #49 10:20AM
I remember this!! such a fun time! i was sooo happy for you two! - crustle  782.8 #260 12:41PM
my favfotre memerory was meeting bob gur at disneyland at spaccail d23 event  - mickeyfan4ever1928  196.1 #2121 12:46PM
oooh bob gurr, very cool! - crustle  782.8 #260 1:18PM
Mine would have to be taking my girls for the first time. I grew up having AP's most of my life, but took an 10 year hiatus (aka, my married life!). Seeing the sights and sounds with them, playing tour guide/historian, and seeing it all through their eyes really helped me see it in a way I couldn't ever imagine. Walking through the castle made me feel like I'd finally come home, and I was ushering my pretties into my homeland! Ever thankful for the memories I'm reliving and the new ones we are recreating!! ☺ - joyfulmomma  266.2 #1267 1:36PM
that is beautiful! seeing Disneyland through someone else's eyes always brings me back to my first times seeing disneyland! it always adds to the experience. I can't imagine how it'll feel bringing my own kids there one day but it something I dream of! - crustle  782.8 #260 3:11PM
It really is a beautiful thing, bring lots of tissues. We're now halfway through our 2nd year of APs and I still shed tears. Its fun raising a new generation of Disnerds! - joyfulmomma  266.2 #1267 7:36AM
Disneyland 30th anniversary, i was the 30th person through the gates and every 30th person was given Disney gifts, I got a pair of ears, a button, ticket to enter any day i wanted, a bumper sticker and a banner.. it was awesome! - Goofdog  170.4 #2481 3:38PM

I don't understand why it was changed in the first place. The area was closed down and rebranded as Grizzly Peak Airfield to be more cohesive with the "California" theme of the park and then they change the ride from Soarin Over California; which is sticking pretty close to the theme of the park; to Soarin Over The World? It just doesn't make sense to me. I understand updating the video itself, which is what I wish they had done.  - 1HitchhikingGhost  292.9 #1022 7:03PM

Disneyland unFORECAST (BETA) is here! Top MouseWaiters giving you the rundown of what's happening at the Disneyland Resort. The unFORECAST now has its own page on the web www.unFORECAST.com

unFORECAST for the month of June 2016
Last month (May) seemed to be quieter than last year, probably because the 60th Celebration began last May, making last summer a lot busier. Looking back at MouseWait's Historical Crowd Index (available in our MagicPlan iOS Calendar), crowds averaged in the mid 80s (approx 85% capacity) for the first two weeks of June, then it quieted down in the last two weeks of the month. We are estimating smaller crowds than last summer because the 60th Celebration is over a year old, and there are still a lot of attractions being refurbished. To get a real-time look at crowd levels, check the MouseWait App for Crowd Index averages and wait times. Have a great week! - Admin Jun 3, 2016 12:07PM

We have always noticed that Saturdays are better than Sundays! We always come on the weekend and say we want to leave at dinner time on Sunday, but always leave by 11-12 because there are so many people. We love Saturday!! - 1Princess3Princes  643.7 #335 5:39PM
I agree. I think it has to do with most passes being blocked - PoohSizedGuy  20.6 #7581 11:53PM
Saturday's rule! One of the perks of a premium pass!  - snappy  451.5 #521 7:32AM
I love these posts!  I do have a question/request/suggestion...is there a way to only show the 3-4 most recent posts?  It's a lot to scroll through. @@Admin - TiggersAndTinks  183.5 #2289 5:08AM
I second this. The info is great to have, but it's too long.  - 1HitchhikingGhost  292.9 #1022 5:04PM
There was nobody there last week on Saturday loved it Hope it's the same this week  - jkobelski  21.1 #0 9:48PM
August 17 - It was still crowded yesterday, though it starts emptying out about 9 pm since some schools are in session and others are watching PTN. These are your last week's to watch PTN and the current WOC, and the 60th fireworks nightly show. Take advantage on a weeknight if you can. And on week nights, the jazz band plays several sets up until 10:15 pm on the Matk Twain and alternate with sets while cruising the ROA on a tom sawyers raft. We saw the band on the river at 10:40 Tuesday night. Market house is closed at night for coffee, the closest coffee after park hours is Starbucks DD/ WOD. or coffee bean in Haggen Dazs DD Β  ice cream Β store till midnight.Β  - secretagentangel  7925.6 #12 1:41PM

I just want to thank all the newbies who are on the list so much lately! This was started as a wait time and more app so by your starting out from the beginning doing wait times is awesome! 2/3of my points are from wait times. I make a game of it and have fun doing them. Hope everyone tries it, it helps others and you earn credits!!πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘ - secretagentangel  7925.6 #12 9:06PM
