My favorite memory was watching the Main Street Electrical Parade with my Mom by the castle when I was little. Also all of the time spent with good friends at the parks, as well as solo time roaming around Disney into the wee hours of the night. Thanks for the memories, Disneylandπ - ScubaSteve028

i have two amazing memories! 1) i danced in the macy's day parade with corbin bleu in disneyland a few years ago and i will never forget such a unique and awesome experience! 2) My boyfriend and I went last year as a birthday present for him and it was his first time in DL. It was such a great experience for both of us! - noelleybelly

All of my fondest memories involve bringing people to Disneyland for the first time! I took my high school boyfriend to DL for the first time and all my cousins from Indiana to DL. One of my friends was in the marine corps and he had never been when he got out of basic I took him and one of his friends to DL for the first time. I think there is something magical about taking people to Disneyland of the first time.
Oh wait then there was the time when we had a family reunioun. My grandfather was a Disneyland when it first opened (not opening day but opening week) it was so near being able to hear his stories about Disneyland and the memories he shared there with his family. - Flyingtoneverland

Even though my dad and step mom are divorced now, one of my favorite memories is watching my dad purposed to her by the castle during the fireworks. For a moment the whole world stood still and I got to witness it. π And honestly the best times have been the ones I've spent with you guys! Thanks for the memories! - AshleyLynn22

Disneyland always brings us to happier times, though things may have changed, there are still cherished memories we hold near and dear! we never got to meet but I hope we get to soon! - crustle 625.1 #175 9:08AM
I agree! π I can't wait to meet you one day! Don't forget if you ever need someone I'm always here for you! - AshleyLynn22 747.6 #136 3:43PM
My favorite memory is two linked together! About three and a half years ago, my boyfriend and I spent a truly magical day at Disneyland together. That day was the first time we said "I love you" and we had a special moment behind the green elephant that used to be in the Gibson Girl. Last year for our third anniversary, he took me back to that elephant, gave me a promise ring, and told me that he wanted to be with me forever! Disneyland is a very special place for us :) - BelleintheTARDIS

I was extremely nervous because I didn't think anyone would show up so needless to say, I was super happy to see Jen, Mark and JR walk up and say they were there for the meet up! It is one of my favorite memories I've had at DL/DCA. I met som pretty awesome MWers at my first meet up and I'm so happy and blessed to call them my friends! :) - PrincessMacy

( she was so surprised). 3- during the Parade, Mulan wished her happy birthday by name from high on top of a float ( near perfection...) - Tomorrowland

Seing Disneyland through my then 9 months. The joy of riding Dumbo when she turn 1, then 2, then 3. The horor of taking her to "the scary adventure of Snowhite" as the first ride for the day. Why didnt we think of that? Anyway... So many firsts. First time we found out our daughter loves roller coaster rides. First time we saw daddy turned green in DCA ferris wheel. What isnit called again? I'm blanking out.. What did you do? You just opened my memory vaults.... Thx - beachbummouse

opening the memory vault is fun sometimes, especially the Disney memory one lol! Mickey's Fun Wheel or Wheel of Death in here lol! these are all great memories! - crustle 625.1 #175 9:05AM
My favorite memory is the last time I took my niece to eat at Ariels Grotto and she finally got to meet face to face her favorite princess Sleeping Beauty. The look on my babys face was one of surprise and awe that thankfully I captured in a picture. She couldnt believe that after 8 yrs her dream came true of meeting her face to face. What made it even better was that the princess danced with her and took a lil bit longer time talking to her because at first my niece couldnt talk! It was like the bestest day ever. She cried happy tears after that. Bless all those CM that have brought a smile to my princess face. - ScarfGirl

Finally spending an anniversary and my bday at the parks was amazing. To everyone that sang Happy Birthday to me. You guys made my night :). Finally meeting Admin and his family last night and for him and his wife to say they love my pictures was awesome :) - RickChavez

Taking my daughter for her first time when she was eight. We had lunch at Ariel's Grotto. When Snow White came to the table she cried so hard she couldn't even speak and couldn't finish her lunch because she was so excited. One of my fondest memories at the Resort was bonding at The Grand with you and LaTruce. The extensive walking tour of the hotel grounds as well as exploring the various towers of the Disneyland Hotel in the wee hours of the night will forever be part of the moments I cherish. Just talking, taking pictures of the architecture and displays, getting freaked out, they are all lasting memories. If it wasn't for MouseWait, I never would have met you two. Maaaan I miss you Crustle π’ - rbeezy

My (recent) most memorable happened a month or so ago when our six year old son, JC was finally able to ride Screamin'. The kid had his hands up the whole ride and even hammed it up for the camera (I walked him through the ride and showed him where the camera was). We rode it seven times that day. This is one of the few pics I've ever purchased and it hangs alongside the Space Mountain pic that we also have of us. - SergZak

Mine would have to be taking my girls for the first time. I grew up having AP's most of my life, but took an 10 year hiatus (aka, my married life!). Seeing the sights and sounds with them, playing tour guide/historian, and seeing it all through their eyes really helped me see it in a way I couldn't ever imagine. Walking through the castle made me feel like I'd finally come home, and I was ushering my pretties into my homeland! Ever thankful for the memories I'm reliving and the new ones we are recreating!! βΊ - joyfulmomma

It really is a beautiful thing, bring lots of tissues. We're now halfway through our 2nd year of APs and I still shed tears. Its fun raising a new generation of Disnerds! - joyfulmomma 229.4 #1252 7:36AM
