My mom was there the first week that Disneyland was open. She still comments that the biggest change is how big the trees are now! Mature trees do completely change the look of the park. - AKMouse 376.5 #363 11:37AM
The biggest change in disneyland since opening day are new lands and attractions, pay per entry and passes it was ticket books in the beginning, new parking structure, anahein city grew ,it was mostly fields back in the day ,the 5 freeyway expanded with carpool exit to the resort.the number one thing in 57 years are the trees and plantlife inside disneyland.when u look in historic books of disneyland there was barely any shade or large trees.in the beginning u could see the castle on both sides all the way from the matterhorn to the carnation dance floor. - pikarich

The more things change, the more they stay the same. Disneyland still maintains its reputation for cleanliness after 57 magical years. - squad51
