Nasty! Out of curiosity I just searched on My Fitness Pal...and a giant turkey leg (carnival/theme park food) is 1136 calories, 14,400 sodium and 54 grams of fat! And that's without the bacon. Ugh... - Darlingwendi

14,400 mgs sodium?? And 54 grams of fat?? What the heck are they doing to them? Pumping them full of lard and sea water? - JinglePoe 289.9 #668 7:39PM
Ohhh no everyone it looks like someone has decided we can't have fun talking about turkey legs this post has been reported! Mmm maybe someone should have learned how to use the remove button when they learned how to use the report button!! Lol - rexy650

THOSE are disgusting... bbq'd turkey legs from these places are just terrible. They try to replicate what Disneyland does, because Disneys turkeyleg has a distinct "cured" flavor that is similar to a touch of ham flavor because of the salt-water cure that they inject the meat with. But it's that cure that makes the DL turkeyleg 95% edible. I can guarantee those things will be stringy and disgusting. - TheBudd

Fair food is so much fun. Has anyone else tried deep fried butter? I tried it at the del mar fair and it was definitely not as bad as I had expected. - storminmormon
