Question everyone, my son is having his 7th bday @disneyland just wondering if any of you guys and gals had any suggestions of what to do to make the night more magical?

We celebrated my lil guys 6th bday last summer with a week long celebration. Each day I had a small present at the end if his bed working up to his bday. We had a character dinner (the day of his bday) and breakfast (during the week). He wore his bday button all week. I took him to build a bear(which he made Darth Vader teddy bear). On the day of his bday we had a locker RAK (more of a give away) with a book that I made for him so MWers could sign. He got to meet some really great MWers. We also went to meet ups. - vegasbrat  403.8 #325 2:00PM

Hooray for bday celebrating...Make sure you get him a Birthday button at City Hall or shops...perhaps a character breakfast or dinner...ride the Lilly Belle...have a MW birthday meetup for your son...consider doing Happiest Birthdays on Earth Celebration at Plaza Inn...whatever you do, it will be magical indeed :+) - uscdisneyteacher  3089.5 #14 11:44AM
Mw birthday meetup? Mind going a bit further? Lol sorry all too new. - sandiibelle  69.7 #3405 1:46PM
Lol you are new then. Let me explain we are a big happy family (most of the time😜) and we call up meet ups for example we say a location like jungle cruise at a certain time to sing happy birthday and ride a ride or two or more. It seems strange I know but lots of fun - MarshaMouse  2835.7 #16 1:48PM
Oh! Haha well that sounds amazing! I'll make sure of that! Fun with strangers and future friends! - sandiibelle  69.7 #3405 1:51PM
Great job explainining Marsha...meetups are an excellent opportunity to get to know fellow MWers...choose an attraction or other spot in the parks and set a time...sing Happy Bday and go on one or few more attractions : ) - uscdisneyteacher  3089.5 #14 2:24PM
I love doing the breakfast for birthdays..they do make a fuss over them. Make sure you get a button...btw welcome to the wacky world of the MW family! - dawna  286.9 #686 11:51AM
Maybe stay at one of the resort hotels. If it's in the budget tell them your staying for his birthday and get a birthday package. I've been wanting to do this for my son. - aidensmama  336.5 #445 12:48PM
I went for my Birthday about a month ago and my husband surprised me with one of the personal cakes you can order!  I love pirates, so he me a reservation and had it brought to our table as a surprise.  I loved it!   - chunkgirl  229.1 #1259 1:21PM

Thank you everyone for the great responses and the warm welcome! Last time I took him for his last birthday I felt so unprepared lol! I will make sure to post up pictures of our weekend there! I feel like there's a secret birthday society that I know nothing about lol I'll make sure to do all I can! He's going to love it! Thanks again everyone! - sandiibelle  69.7 #3405 1:45PM
