*MW Question* As we all know all of us are from so many places in the country or world, yet friendships are built here regardless of the distances between us. It amazes me. What amazes me the most is the journey to this place. So I really have to ask, what brought you to MW? How did you end up here and where are you at in the world?
CMBaloo introduced me last July one day while we were working on the parade route together. (It's been almost a year! Crazy!!!) I think the first MWers I met were Mickey74 and Sugarbaker. It's been a lot of fun creating friendships and hanging out with other Disney affecionados. I live about 30 minutes from the park (20 if no traffic). - IDVandalSkipperCM

I am close in North San Diego. Mosewait was discovered by accident. I used to only post wait times, until I needed the porch to get my autistic daughter out of a super huge crowd during a sensory overload. We hopped up there and she crawled under the bench that was full. The MW'ers helped calm her down with out her running away ( by ignoring her). Someone got my other 2 a pickle since they were talking about it as we entered. Now I embrace the lounge. - MeridasHair

I grew up in NorCal, and my family still lives there, so Disneyland was always our vacation destination. When I graduated from HS, I went off to upstate NY for college (entering my senior year this fall). Last fall, I went to LA for a "study abroad" opportunity and worked for a TV show in Burbank. In the mean time, my mom was busy stalking the lounge whenever she was bored. When I moved to LA, she told me to join because she knew I was planning to get an AP. I did and the rest is history! I'm back in NY for the next year, but I'm counting down until my move to LA in May 2013! - KylaShea

I've had this app since 2010 and signed up for the lounge but for some reason at that time I was not able to sign in. I used this app for wait time til I finally got my iphone 4 (faster on internet) in February. Since then I've been hooked and it's been nice to meet people who are addicted to Disneyland. I live in Manteca. For those who don't know where that is, it's by Stockton and 1 hr 1/2 east from San Francisco. - adventurerEnDisneylandia {AED}

I was sitting at home one day and was being Disney crazy like I always am. I had the idea that I wanted to see if I could check the wait times and other things going on at the park on my phone, so I searched the AppStore and MW had great reviews and looked nice. So, I downloaded it to try and I loved it. I was working as a CM at the time and figured I could contribute some neat things to the lounge, so I started posting and got hooked. Now I'm an AP and a stay at home mommy. I really enjoy the feeling of community on here and knowing that there are always people out there that are just as Disney crazy as I am. I live in Ontario and am just about 35 miles away from the parks. - CMJenKWorth
