So, I took the day off from work...thinking I might head to the the parks today...by myself. Never done that before😁 It's Disneyland...have fun either way right?!
If I lived anywhere near Anaheim, I would go by myself all the time! I just love to sit in the park and soak up the atmosphere. - CinderellasMom

In all the years I've had my pass, I think the only character pictures I've taken was with Mickey and Russel. I think I'll add that to my list to do today while I'm there. Maye hopin to meet some MWers too :)

When the bf works I would go to the park by myself with my one year old. I was kinda scared cuz I had to carry her big stroller, diaper bag and she's heavy too lol but cast members are always nice and help me put my stroller in the shuttle. - annjay07

Since Im shy I was soooo nervous my first solo trip, but nowadays I dont hesitate and I think I go more solo trips than ones with others. any trip to DL is worth it! - Sarafina

I've gone by myself & didn't tell my family. It was different. Didn't have anyone to talk to in line. I'm shy so that didn't help much. BUT you get on rides faster! - Tinkerdu5

I used to go by myself all the time when I was 14. It was the best babysitter my dad could have asked for. He'd drop me off on Friday nights, then he'd go out with whoever his date was that night. Then he'd pick me up at the end of the night and I never complained about the babysitter not being any fun or that I was too big for this babysitter. ;) True story. - NotNKansasAnymor

Yes I did have the best babysitter ever. People thought my dad was crazy for doing that. But his argument was that its a controlled and relatively safe environment and I knew the park better than most people, so there was never any fear of me getting lost. I had a blast! It was a heck of a lot better than him leaving me at home to veg in front of the tv for hours. At least this way I got plenty of exercise as well as exercising my social skills.
