That really depends on what you plan to buy/do and how many people you're planning for. If you eat breakfast at home and pack a lunch you can get away with $20-$30 on the low end for 2 people, but no souvenir stuff. My husband and I have spent as little as $15 (sodas and ice cream) and as much as $200 (expensive dinner at Blue Bayou as well as snacks and drinks during the day. I would say your best bet if you're trying to stay on a budget is to decide how much you are willing to spend and bring it in cash. You will end up spending more if you pull out a card for every purchase. Have a great time and happy 4th! - rehull

I go to the resort planning on dropping $1000^. That is on a five day park hopper with the wife and two kids. That number will drop precipitously now that the kids have grown. - SorcererBHhaha

Just a bowl of chilli and cheese in plastic cup you get more chilli this way too - Loridrives

We spend $50 per day per person on food and average $100 per person for souvenirs. We are only able to make the trip to Disneyland once a year on average. - girlzstylin

Well, I live 1000 miles away, so when I visit, I have to count airfare, rental car or shuttle, hotel, park admission and food. This year I have an annual pass, so about $1000 for every 3-5 day trip. It will be even more after my pass expires in August :( - PrincessKristin

You can take your own meals in, take or have the cms take pictures with your camera (your own souvenirs ) and refill any water bottles you take in. If you really get hungry there's the bread tour where u can get samples all day. And now free chocolate samples too. - maxinerenton

I tend to splurge while I'm there since we can't go all the time and food is kinda a passion for me, so most of our money goes to food. - madsdad

Us too...most of what we spend at DL is on food hehehe :o) - HadMatter 351.2 #409 8:33PM
So worth it though! I spend hours on allears.net before a trip planning out what I'm gonna eat lol. - madsdad 1130.4 #72 8:36PM
Too much, that's how much. :) But truthfully the amount I spend there can vary widely. I have gone for a half day and spent absolutely nothing relying on small snacks and drinks brought in a backpack. Other times I have spent lots on merchandise and food. - coasterbuf

I am cheap. I get chicken baskets at the Stage door and share 2 baskets with my son, daughter, and myself. We also bring in snacks and lunch. Dinner sit down and drop $30-$50 depending on which restaurant. This is for three kids and I. We rarely get souvenirs, only birthdays. Ice Cream sundae to share $8-$9 at Ghiradelli. - MeridasHair

I try to get away with $25 or less for me and my son on most visits. I always bring water and a lunch for my son. Some visits I will splurge and spend about $80 but that on rare occasions. - aidensmama

I have lots of money saving tips and tricks, which I use mostly so I can justify a few splurges. Having said that, we spend about $75-100/day for both of us on food and souvenirs. - LittleAprilShowers

I've gone to DL with just $20, which I got 2 meals and a dessert with. - BaseballMickey_CM
