Obviously I love the Pixar short Boundin'. I am also fascinated with all the details Disney and Pixar put into everything they do. I just discovered that there is an Easter egg and a few references to Boundin' in the Cars movie. The Easter egg is Mater and Lightning McQueen at a drive-in watching a version of Boundin' where McQeen is the lamb and Mater is the Jackalope, one of Fillmore's bumper stickers says "I Brake For Jackalopes" and during the opening race a picture of the Jackalope is seen on the back of a van. Also Stanley, the founder of radiator springs, makes a breif appearance in Boundin'. If you look at the back of the statue of Stanley in Cars Land it is an exact likeness of the truck backing down the hill when the lamb gets sheared. Thank you Bud Luckey!
