Happy 4th of July everyone!! Ok so let's have a little contest. Tell me how many fireworks you bought this year. The person with the most gets bragging rights. Sorry nothing good to give away.
We bought some here in Vegas.. my husband bought me a box for my bday =/ I tried to act happy about it haha. He probably spent about 100 bucks.. which we could have put toward our disney fund ugggh! - PlsDisneyMe

Let me clarify, by fireworks I meant the ones on the ground, the fountain ones, not the ones that blow up on the air. Also fireworks can mean sparklers or even those little poppers. - scrumpy325

Dublin sells them and let's you do them legally in three parks. I saw them everywhere last year. This year San Ramon won't have the sky ones. Only Livermore at Las Positas off airway blvd. We are going there tonight - E-Ticket 772.4 #128 7:06AM

Here in Washington, our fireworks laws are quite liberal - we can not only buy ground fireworks but many others, like Roman candles and other ones, big ones, that blow up in the air. Bottle rockets, firecrackers, and missiles are illegal. That being said, SOME people, like families with three boys, often make trips to the Indian reservations to get a WIDE variety of explosives. I have spent many a 4th of July warning my husband and boys not to blow things up. It's actually quite a lot of fun, but I get very nervous every year. - PrincessKristin

Yep, PK, for us it used to be very easy to put on a good show w/ artillery purchased on the reservations.... But I'm in Lacey now and they banned everything, even sparkles, a few years back. Ooo I don't miss the next-morning mess! My hubby swears he's going to get a push broom out and sweep up in front of our house tomorrow because our dingbat neighbors across the street never clean up...he wants to dump it all on their lawn...and fireworks are banned in our area! San Diegan here....we don't buy them. I remember having the sparklers as a kid though! Please remember....make sure your pets are safely confined. So many pets get lost on the Fourth! I usually put mine in a room with music on to keep them calm. *Friendly advice from your MW Dog Lady!* - Gia

I got my contraband sparklers and snakes. I live on an Pen space in San Diego and down the street from a CDF fire chief so we must be quiet. We do flood the back concrete with water. - MeridasHair

This is the first time my bro and I have celebrate independence day with no fireworks. Since my parents had to relocate to Houston for my mom's job, that leaves just my bro and I at home. my dad loves fireworks and he's bummed that he won't be here with us to see them.
