Hi guys! This is the first time I have browsed this part of the lounge. I have gone on "diets" at least a handful of times the past couple years. They result in me giving up. As of this week I have started watching what I eat, again, but am really pushing for a life style change. I have always counted my calories (it's hard not to do once you've started) in the past. Earlier in the week I loaded 2 apps to my phone- MyFitnessPal and LoseIt! They make it so much easier to track my daily intake!

Welcome! I think you are on track with the "lifestyle change". I had always failed on diets but I found that making gradual changes in my daily habits led to better results (lost over 50 lbs) and it easily became my natural way of life. Drastic changes were too hard for me to stick with in the long run. They key for me was to start with small changes and add them gradually. - D55CR
