Just a reminder these are battery opperated if you are not going to use them for a while, say if your pass is blocked out for a while or you have adult responsabilities like a job or something that would keep you from your ears, remove the batteries because sometimes batteries "leak". - GrumpyPirateDad 462.7 #263 9:33PM
What size bobby pins. Will the big ones be too long? - SueBayou

This is true. If you sneeze, they go flying off your head. For me, since bobby pins won't work, I had to put my hood on before the ears. - LaTruce

I put a bun on the back of my head and it rested on that then tied the string around my bun. It stayed on pretty good after that. - MissBunny

Yes, great tip! They are heavy! And if you are smaller the elastic isn't tight at all, I kept almost dropping mine, eek! - ashmonster

Being small has nothing to do with the size of your head. I'm petite but my head is gigantic. - aidensmama 336.3 #442 6:50PM
Ah I have the opposite problem, my head is too small, I always need hats from the kids section! - ashmonster 31.7 #4288 7:37PM

Hahaha. That made me laugh. Suuz is a CM! - Minnis2Society 360.0 #388 6:36PM
Yes of course she can help. Although every CM can not know everything....... The plastic safety release will open or split in half at the seem..Pull the elastic out one of the sides a bit and put the safety back together pinching the elastic in the new position. . Repeat pulling more or less elastic outside until desired fit is obtained and OR Pull the elastic out a little or a little more and tie a new knot, be sure to slide the little plastic stopper above the knot before you tie so it stops the knot in the safety release put the halves back together (this will work for a more permanent adjustment. Keep in mind more permanent measure twice - GrumpyPirateDad 462.7 #263 7:01PM
Are there kids' sized hats? Thanks. - MinnieMousewife
