Hello and welcome to MW!  Be sure to acquaint yourself with the FAQs.  September is a good month.  You will have kids going back to school after Labor Day so crowds will be lessening, and weather is slightly cooler.  As for Halloween, the parks will be decorated from Sept 14 onto Oct 31.  Rides may be down for refurbishing and you will have shorter park hours though. - Willierose  1172.6 #68 4:25PM

Welcome :) I love going in September during the weekdays because you can walk onto most rides or wait 10-15 minutes. Most of the kiddos are just going back to school so most parents do not go during the week. It usually closes early during week but it doesn't matter since most attractions are walk on most of September and October. There might be some refurbishments, you might want to check. Weather is warm, 80s-90s during day and evenings are cool. Sweater cool. I would say its perfect! - MarshaMouse  2834.6 #15 7:48AM
