Here was the plans for what is now New Orleans Square in 1961. No Pirates in the area or in the plans then and Haunted Mansion found a new location before it was built.

I have a bunch of old park maps and my wife thinks I am crazy for saving them. I like to see how the parks progress though the years. My favorite is 55th Anniversary with dumbo on the cover from a couple years ago - Disneymba

These aren't the maps you get in the parks for free. These are the souvenir maps that you have to purchase. They are big, like around 3 feet wide. Either are good for tracking park changes but these are really detailed! - AKMouse 376.5 #364 2:09PM
