iFRR is correct, starting next year the Grad Nite after hour festivities will be in DCA. They will still be able to be in DL with regular guests though. - LBChica 1500.3 #52 12:22PM
They are done at DL After park closes. They will be able to park hop during normal operating hours but after closing they all go to DCA - RickChavez 2185.7 #30 2:39PM
They're doing it before the parks close again? Wasn't it bad enough this year - Vegaspooh 118.5 #2762 2:53PM
Yeahhh! For the CMs! Now they only have to deal with us silly MW LOL. The CM's deserve an applause for staying positive during grad nights. I wonder if buzz leaving at the start of grad night and coming back at the end was on purpose? - rexy650

It is sad. So many of us have such great memories of grad night at Disneyland. It's the end of an era in Disneyland history. - VeloMouseGirl 549.7 #202 12:37PM
I'm kind of sad about it even though it doesn't affect me. I remember my DL grad night (in 95) fondly. No Doubt played, right before they became HUGE. - DaisyDork

Actually, nobody knew who they were at the time, they were on a side stage by Toon Town and there were literally like 20 people watching them.. most people were walking by (including me and my friends). It wasn't until later that summer when they exploded they were like like, wait.. they were at our Grad Night!!! - DaisyDork 170.0 #2007 1:21PM
Yes they were! I was there that year as well. - joyfulmomma 229.4 #1248 8:18AM
Now that is worth celebrating! We get our park back! - Timsierramist

Im going to be a senior this coming year and I was extremely disappointed to hear our gradnite would be held at six flags instead of Disney. When I've been looking forward to grad nite at Disney nearly my entire life. So I don't feel it's anything to celebrate, since, chances are you had grad nite at Disney and it was the time of your life. I wish I could have experienced it. - mermaidhair

My class did Santa Cruz boardwalk. That was disappointing. - jjdq 326.7 #490 6:49AM
My class had grade nite at school.... - bellaminnie 264.5 #875 2:46PM
😢 I'm sorry...that is bad news! I really wouldn't wish this on any grad, I do think they deserve it. YOLO Right? Six Flags? Really? 😁 Idk it gets creepy there sometimes... But I do believe it is probably bc of the expansion of DCA and it'll probably cost much more to keep both of the parks open for the grads... 👎 - gigibunny2

Yes. They are done for the year and I already posted the dates for next year. But us CMs may not be off the hook yet, because we may have to work them again, just in the other park. - BaseballMickey_CM
