Great RAK! My first memory of Disneyland (although my mom says we went when I was 2) is in 1981..... I was 10. They still had ticket books. We had 8 D tickets left and my mom and dad were pooped. They gave the 8 D tickets to my brother and I and we rode Autopia 4 times in a row. We really believed we were driving. We are in our 40s now and still talk about that day. My first memory of Disney was eating lunch at the Carnation Cafe. I was 11 or 12 & loved the color red (still do). All I really remember about the lunch was the red & white color scheme. Then we went on the teacups. Please add me, thanks! - toniasmith

Please add me. My first memory is sitting on my grandpas shoulders while walking down main street in 1993. All the bright lights and laughter of all the people excited to be there. My grandpa was the most important person to me and past away a few days after I turned 4. It's crazy the things I remember from when I was 2 and 3 but I guess when there is Someone that means the world to you in those years you remember everything :) - Beautylovesherbeast

My first memory of Disneyland was many years ago! 40 to be exact! Yikes! I was 5 and my parents and my brother and I travelled by car from Illinois! I remember riding Dumbo the Flying Elephant and I remember my parents and brother riding the Matterhorn! Although at the time I would not have been able to tell you the name of it! I remember it being a "big" ride! I also remember the coupon books!! My brother had his for years! He has passed away now but but boy would that have been a collectors item!! I will be taking my children there in July for the first time!! So excited!! And yes we r traveling from Illinois but definetly not by car!!! - fam4disneyluv

As I got closer to the ride the CM would ask me who I was here with and I would simply pick out a couple in line and say that they were my mom and dad. I eventually got tired and fell asleep on a bench near main street USA until my mom found me. Needless to say she was not thrilled, but somehow the Magic of Disney calmed her down and we enjoyed the rest of the day with me on a leash....lol Happy Birthday to you!!! - GoofyDad74 3.4 #19014 6:27AM

Add me please :) I honestly can't remember what my first memory was (having 2 kids my memory is shot!) but I remember driving down in my parents car from sac to LA and all 7 of us would pile in the car, that's including my grama! Now that my grama has passed I remember and look at pics we have of her and I there together and I'm glad she was able to still come a few times when I was little. I'm the baby of 4 and we went every other year growing up but I know before I was 10 she stopped coming becuase she couldn't walk that much. So I'm glad I got to experience it with her, even though I was little, I love having that as a memory! Thanks so much! :) - brodysmommy
