LOL Haters gon' hate. I don't mind paying less for my mortgage than I would have to pay to rent a one-bedroom apartment in Santa Ana. Just started looking to buy House #2 last week. :) - susieQzee

Who, me?? Heck no. Been in Temecula 16 years. Before that, San Diego native. - SueBayou 2012.0 #35 8:52PM
No, not you. OohToodless. Hemet is hardly "close" to Temecula (30ish miles?) - flukefan 266.4 #881 2:24AM
OhtoodLESS hah? I just recently moved to Hemet to be closer to where I teach (I teach at the school I went to as a kid) but lived in Temecula for 11 years. I still consider Temecula home though! - ohhhtoodles 365.2 #396 8:46AM
Btw...I never said I currently live in Temecula! - ohhhtoodles 365.2 #396 8:53AM
30 miles from temecula??? Uh, get a map! Hemet and temecula border each other. And personally i hate hemet, but temecula and murietta are great! - Zipitydoodahdad 258.3 #939 9:16AM
Thanks auto correct...that's awesome. I thought that was you who mentioned living in Hemet when the accident at HHS happened. :) Do you teach for Hemet Unified? A bunch of my friends work for them too. And Zippity, I just mapped it. 25 miles from Hemet to Temecula. :) - flukefan 266.4 #881 9:31AM

Rodney King died there the other day. When Mrπ's parents lived there we used to see him ride by on his bike. 909 is a dangerous place. - Mrsblue

Ahh, I'm always at St B and The Riverhole. - Normstar 81.2 #3313 7:56PM
Yup, not a good area. I grew up on the North Side of San Bernardino and it's sad to say that it has also gone downhill. My mom still lives in the house I grew up in and she still has most of the same neighbors around her. - LizOβ’ 470.0 #262 8:07PM

Haha not ALL places in the inland empire are horrible , Redlands is where I am and it's more of a historic town :) my house is 112 years old! - pepeope

Do you know the connection between Redlands and Disneyland? The beautiful, historic homes were once owned by the people who owned the farms that once occupied the land that is now Orange County. Their workers stayed on property while the ranch owners lived lavishly in Redlands. :) - susieQzee 486.8 #250 11:53AM
Well...how many people have died in it? ππ just kidding :) - Disneyninjaprincess 14.5 #5871 2:41PM
Maybe it's just me, but I always hear about WAY worse things happening around L.A. county than I do about cities of the I.E., and I'm sure I watch the same news channels: KTLA-5, FOX 11, etc...But unfortunately I'm biased, I live on the edge of Rancho Cucamonga and N. Fontana and I LOVE it! Close to Victoria Gardens & Ontario Mills shopping plus only 40 mins away from Disneyland. And a SPECIAL shout-out to my people from ONTARIO!!! I lived there for around 7-8 years! Woot Woot!!! - RogueRobot

Let's remember Los Angeles count is far bigger than the inland empire. Actually Wikipedia says it has the most populous county in the United States. It would only make sense it would have a higher crime rate. - aidensmama 339.4 #446 2:33PM
There's good and bad places anywhere. I live in Corona. Nice area, very quiet. Was thinking of moving back closer to LA just to be closer to family, since I'm originally from the south bay area. But nothing was worth leaving this neighborhood and house. Unless I want to spend 3 or 4 times more. No thanks :D I rather just make the drive if I want to go to the beach. Now if I were to win the lottery... - SleepyTortuga 287.2 #699 2:38PM
^thats one of bad things about Los Angeles county. Most places are just too expensive to buy or even rent. - aidensmama 339.4 #446 2:40PM
