has anyone tried getting fastpasses as soon as park opens for RSR, then getting in regular line and using fastpasses later? if so, how long did you wait in both lines?
Given the length of the standby line you might have to actually get out of that line to use your fastpass. Besides, why would you want to spend your entire day in lone for one attraction? There is so much new stuff to see and do. - Jimineycricket

We got there first thing Saturday Morning, my wife got in line for the FastPass and I In line for the ride . By 12:30 we had rode RSR twice :-) - DarthSparrow

When I say both lines, I mean fastpass and then regular line for the ride. We hope to ride twice, once first thing when park opens, then again when its time for our fastpasses. :) - Princessnicci
