Hi All: we're heading to Disneyland tomorrow and thinking of kenneling our pup. Have any MWers used the kennel before? Any thoughts or suggestions for first timers? TIA
Yes, it is really nice :) my girls thought it was the coolest thing their dog got to ride the tram... Lol! You can go and visit throughout the day too! - disneymomi

Sure does. It's to the far right of the entrance gates, - susieQzee 480.6 #245 3:11PM
Yep, $20 a day outside the main entrance - Linzee 515.2 #227 3:11PM
We did last weekend.
The bad: The backyard area for your dog to go potty was disgusting. They had three small itty bitty patches of fake grass for them to relieve themselves and it stunk so bad. We had to walk our dog up Harbor each time to go potty, it was a huge pain!!
The good: The cages are clean and secure, they have many different sizes and will water and feed your dog if you want. Get there early and request a top one, our Wally was much happier not being on the bottom. Be sure to have all the vaccine records from your vet and you can bring a blanket or bed for your dog :) - Linzee

I never noticed the smell in the outside area. I thought it was kinda cute with the Lady and the Tramp mural! - Gia 782.1 #119 3:01PM
Pretty sure they are remodeling back there because the turf was all torn out. The 3 pieces that remained were no bigger then a bed pillow. - Linzee 515.2 #227 3:07PM
We've used them with great results. Very satisfied. Smell not an issue all the times. Our dog seemed happy. And yes, we visited several times during the day. - MelodyMouse

Thanks everyone! We're a little nervous our escape artist might be able to get out of the kennel. We have a full steel kennel at home because she can get out of the plastic/metal kennels. How secure are the kennels? - AimeePie

Very, they even had an extra dog leash clip to keep it secure. - Linzee 515.2 #227 2:51PM
And the room where they are has full glass doors. The glass doors are closed whenever the entry door is open. - Gia 782.1 #119 3:00PM
You do have to take your dog on potty breaks...either in the kennels fenced off area or on a walk. Our dog won't go in public so we take her out on a walk...there's a somewhat secluded area with bushes near the buses and over by DC. Just be sure to clean up after! - Gia

My sister has 2 dogs and taken them there for years. She loves it and feels comfortable leaving them there. - Disneymother
