Anyone miss the "postcard" scene?
To be completely honest, I don't miss the old look at all. I am completely in love with the new look! The old look made me think of a bunch of cheap plastic party bag gifts. It had no class or style. But now it is absolutely beautiful and worthy of the high standards Disney was all about. - Autoalice

The angle and the way the suspension cables drooped like that on the Golden Gate never looked right, to the point of being a major distraction. It just looked odd to me. The Buena Vista St. bridge is a major improvement, although I'd say 95% visitors knew what the old bridge represented, and my guess is only roughly 10% know what the new bridge is based on. - Grindcore

I'm being really generous with the 10% number, too. Probably more like 5%. Most people passing under that new bridge just figure its some really nice random looking art deco bridge. I love the GGB and especially around Halloween how they'd drape little candy corns all over it. I will miss it but I love the new additions. They both have their own special charm 😊 - Aquata

The only thing I miss about the old entrance is the Golden Gate Bridge and gigantic CA letters. But I am very pleased with how Buena Vista Street turned out. It looks amazing, I got teary eyed yesterday walking through for the first time because it was so beautiful LOL - rbeezy

Not totally but even though I didn't like the fake GGB, the new bridge is nice but a little bland color wise. But I do love the old Hollywood feel - cesium55

I do love the new. I love almost feeling like I'm walking with walt onto the streets of LA for the first time. However, and please don't throw anything at me, I could do without the cables everywhere. I know they're a big part of how the city would have looked back then, but they make for very ugly pictures, IMO. - LittleAprilShowers
