Once again guys, RSR is not running right now. Ride shut down due to technical difficulties and people being escorted off ride. The ride is going to be a much longer wait than posted. Hopefully it will be back up soon!
I didn't think this mouse waiter was complaining too harshly. I've seen and heard worse. I think it was info for all of us not there, even if it's not good. Let's not all jump on this guy for posting info. - lovetheland7

Here's the way I used to put it in perspective for guests. Remember back in the 90's when we all played gameboys and when you turned them on it took a minute to warm up? Well basically our attractions work in that same manor. If something goes wrong we have to shut it down then power it back up and it takes some time to get it running again. And almost anything can take an attraction down. I remember TSMM going down once for 6 hours because of an orange. Trust me when I say it's just as frustrating for CM's as it is for guests when attractions go down but we do everything we can to get them running again as soon as possible. - lostgirl7988

It is human nature for people to complain. They use this app to reach out to others who might feel the same. People hardly ever read notices or signs as they rather go by what they themselves feel is right. While this app is meant to be "vacation-esque" people still complain while on vacation. - MrFantasia2000JP

It broke down my first ride as I had just gotten in the car at the loading. It was like a 15 minute wait in the car added to the 30 min in the line, but so totally worth it. It's just how things go and soon they should have it down smooth. - Sarafina

Just remember that a ride thats gone from ocassional usage to flat out is bound to have problems but disney gives you a walkoff pass and you can ride it later so cheer up a remember their are 20 other rides in the park. God bless the mechanics - puddy77

I went on the AP preview day and our wait time went from 10 min. to an hour and 45 because of this. It was worth the wait though :) also the CMs were kind enough to move the line to a shady area so we wouldn't burn in the sun. - AMWestchester

It's not always the attractions themselves actually breaking down either. I've been there often when a CM will tell you the not-so-magical truth. While most will tell you "the snakes got out and Indie is rounding them up", some will tell you that some numbnut dropped their cell or purse on the track. So just be patient, because ignoring problems on these attractions can lead to serious injury. - TheBudd

They usually won't shut a ride down to get a cell phone unless it in the vehicle path or on top of a sensor. Same with bags too unless it is absolutely needed like if there is life saving medication in there. - keikoanddaphne 5.7 #9627 12:24AM

Technical difficulties are great! We rode it three times in a row last weekend, saw people get walked off and I think I found a hidden mickey inside the "fuel"door. A Lille peak behind the magic curtain we rarely see at disneyland. Plus RSR had soda and ice cream vendor in the line!! Just like the stands at a sporting event! - FrogPrincess

Ok. I just saw how far along this post came. That was not complaining by any stretch of the imagination. I also was not being negative, but it was "negative" information about a ride closure, and it appears I broke terms of service by trying to inform MW'rs deep in line for RSR why the line wasn't budging?
I think we all know what complaining is and I trust we all have common sense on that issue.
Now ifsome folks want me to complain, it would be over the fact that some lounge users have been unnecessarily jumping on happy MA'rs for no good reason at all.
I think most of usknow what I'm talking about.
So if it sounded like I was complaining, I wasn't. And if for some strange reason you get that impression, just read my post in Mickey Mouse's voice and I think that problem will resolve itself.
That said, I still love MW and will continue to attempt to post good, useful and fun info, still complaint free, into the lounge because that's why the lounge is here. - Timsierramist
