Random question/ help needed.
Looking for a class gift idea for an amazing first grade teacher. I'm the room mom and I want to get /make/have made something meaninful from all the kids.
Any creative suggestions you fun mw folk?

One year we got one if those mugs from Starbucks that looks like a chalkboard & had all the kids sign it in chalk (special pen) We also added a generous gift card as well. Only works if they like coffee though! - Dreamseeker

Great ideas. Oh. And there are 22 kids. I'm going to ask for donations (not mandatory) of $2/kid. And everyones name will be put on it regardless. So im looking around the $50 mark. Ish. I like the idea of something personalized - Pariswk

Another cute garden-y idea is to buy a large or lots of small pots (one for each kid or have them work in small groups) and have the kids paint and decorate the outsides, then plant flowers or herbs inside the pots - Pixarprincess

I like the stepping stone idea or a picture of the entire class framed with the signatures if each kid in the border (matte) around the pic. We took a cute class pic on the play structure-colorful and kids on all the levels. I have also made teachers those homemade blankets that you tie the edges. You could cut and tie every fifth one together and the kids could tie the rest. Material usually on sale at Joanns. - sandra_d

If teacher likes Disney then get her an engraved mug or something from the Crystal shop on Main St. Like a photo frame that contains a class photo - Elaine
