I'm kind of sad that I can't play with some of the features on this app because I don't have a Facebook :/
You just make a "fake" fb account, don't "friend" anyone, and play trivia. If you don't want to do that, then I guess you should just not worry about it. - bluefairy

I don't have a FB but my dog does. Lol you can totally get one just for the FB features. It's kind of nice just for that but you don't have to get involved in anything else.
