Input please?...Would you take a 10 year old girl to see the PG13 Avengers movie? And FYI, she has seen all the Star Wars and POTC movies...thanks! :)

I took a ten year old daughter of a friend to see it, and it was appropriate for her. All the violence is more fantasy type, no blood and guts and stuff like that. - madsdad  1123.5 #73 4:07PM
Yup, I'm a total wimp when it comes to blood and guts, and I loved this movie! There's only one scene I can think of that involved blood, and it was nothing worse than a POTC moment. - KylaShea  533.2 #214 6:56PM
I still remember mads tugging my arm during the mermaid scene in potc and her saying "Daddy, I don't think that Ariel" lol. - madsdad  1123.5 #73 7:08PM
Hahaha. Those girls were crayyyy-zy. - KylaShea  533.2 #214 7:11PM
I took my 7 year old daughter. She loved it. I don't see any reason why not. But as always everyone knows their own children best. - PrincessAuroraMomma  392.8 #339 4:05PM
It is PG 13 because of mild violence and some bad language. - PrincessAuroraMomma  392.8 #339 4:07PM
Yes. I didn't see it, my sister did she said it would be fine for Lexi who is 8 1/2! - Minnis2Society  360.0 #388 4:05PM
It will be fine.. - azcam08  203.2 #1580 4:05PM
Yes, I don't recall seeing anything overly inappropriate in the movie! - TinkerAli  218.6 #1368 4:06PM
Perfect! Thanks :) - Darlingwendi  637.9 #169 4:10PM
Yes I took my 6 year old, he really enjoyed it. I don't think anything too bad was in it.  - PinkElephants  634.0 #170 4:12PM
If they were ok with the level of violence, then yes. You have to judge the language and any sexual content for your own family. (this is my generic statement, not avengers specific) - JenAnneWho  300.7 #609 4:15PM
For LilBird's 10th Birthday, we had a Birthday Party at the El Capitan to see Avengers. We had 3 10 year old boys and 2 6 year old girls. They all LOVED it. The girls thought it was SO cool!! There is a lot of action and fighting in it but it's great!!! Hope this helps - Disneybird  173.1 #1955 4:17PM
We took our 9 year old son he loved it. I loved it! The only thing I noticed was violence and a small scene with ironman and his girlfriend talking with small innuendos. Over all nothing worse than on TV. - FaithTrustPixiedust  22.7 #4829 4:19PM
I would say any child that has the attention span to sit thru it and enjoys super hero fun should see it.  LOTS of good hearted humor.  The violence is purely comical, and hardly different from cool old school Disney cartoon shorts. - TheBudd  357.3 #396 4:21PM
I love MW... :) - Darlingwendi  637.9 #169 4:25PM
I was going to take my 8 year old brothers in law I thought it was plenty appropriate but to each there own. Personally I didn't find it much adult than pirates or star wars :) - cmdlgurl  255.5 #951 4:27PM
We went and saw it last night along with dark shadows and I think it would be fine to take your 10 year old. For someone that doesn't like comics.. I enjoyed it ;) - Keala76  293.1 #655 4:46PM
ive watched it like 5 times, and i cant remember one curse word.... - Radius  501.4 #235 5:08PM
My husband took our 8 1/2 year old and she loved it.  She's seen all the super hero movies with him and likes them all. - duckchub  288.7 #676 5:12PM
I took my 10 yr old son he loved it. I dont remember any bad words. I think she'll love it. I've heard worse walking around the park. - disneygal  365.9 #380 5:42PM
The big issue will be the language. - RadioMaverick  526.9 #218 5:58PM
16 or 17 obscenities (some “d” words, some “h” words, one SOB, but no “f” words) - RadioMaverick  526.9 #218 6:07PM
My 7 yr old niece went and loved it. There is no swearing at all in the movie. - Dahulagirl  1053.2 #80 6:01PM
I took a 4 year old and he loves it...yep I was that parent in the theater. - DisneyDreamer18  168.4 #2024 6:07PM
16 or 17 obscenities (some “d” words, some “h” words, one SOB, but no “f” words). - RadioMaverick  526.9 #218 6:12PM
Definitely yes. Very few curse words. No blood or gore. No adult situations. Just a great movie. - Eraf61  264.6 #871 6:15PM
I took my son to see POTC 2 and I believe he was barely 2. His doctor wasn't happy about that. Anyways to answer your question yes. - Lelundrial  339.6 #431 6:34PM
And the verdict is...yes, she loved it! "that was cool"...and her fave was the Hulk. Thanks again everyone for the input :) - Darlingwendi  637.9 #169 2:14PM
I took my 2yr old to see star wars ep1 3D! his favorite was the pod racing scene! He was ducking and diving!! :) - Jfigg23  254.7 #964 2:17PM

I don't think the avengers movie was all that violent or anything I would show my 3 and 5 yr olds - Disneylanddad702  401.7 #328 6:27PM
We just took our 5 yr old son. not to violent or anything. tho  he did get bored and fall asleep during a lil bit of it. - StitchPrincess  84.5 #3212 6:54PM
