Hi everyone! My son and I are coming to Disneyland for the second time in August. We're from NY and loved it so much we decided to visit again. I need to find a hotel outside of Disneyland and was wondering if I can't afford HoJo, is the Portofino any good? Thanks in advance!
It will be 7/31-8/4 then we're going to check out San Diego. I know there is a discount with MW, I just figured I'd check as a backup. Thanks. - tina94

we stayed at the Portofino once. felt a little run down. i think it was some hotel, prior, but it just felt a lil old. walls were thin. the floor/ celing walls were thin. we could hear everyone and everyTHING. yes, everyTHING. - HandMeAChurroImmaFaint 1801.5 #42 2:06PM

We stayed at Portofino last time, we are staying at HoJo this time! Portofino wasnt bad, our little one felt the walk was to much, but the kids suite was fun for her and she still talks about having her own room....the pool was small...but guest services was nice! - lynniesue42

We have stayed at the Portofino Inn previously, and compared to allot of the other off site properties, it's great. (Still love the HoJo though) - proudcanuck

I like name your price from priceline when I can't get the HoJo. $69/night for a 3 1/2 star hotel is fantastic!! You won't be within walking distance but a shuttle will pick you up from outside the hotel lobby and drop you off in the pedestrian entrance. - GoofyMom77

someone posted yesterday I think the prices for the next couple of months and they seemed good, maybe call them first, then see what others offer. I was quite surprised at the good price they give MW'ers. - secretagentangel

Also try Carousel Inn or Best Western Park Place Inn. Those 2 of my favorites and I usually get a good rate there. Have fun! - emnldsmom
