Friday night i rode on Goofys flight school and my hat blew off and landed below the attraction, I could see it lying there. I asked a cm how to retrieve it and was told that if I came back at closing they could get it for me when the ride was shut down. I was perfectly ok with this. When I came back I was told that whoever told me to come back at closing was absoultely wrong and that I should go to lost and found and fill out a report. I went to lost and found filed the report and was told to come back Sat morning as the area under the ride would be cleared and brought to lost and found. I returned Sat nite at 930 pm only to be told that not only was my hat not there but it could take upwards of 3-4 days for lost items to be returned from the ride premises. I post this for informational purposes, that if you loose something below this ride it may be a long time coming back if it all. I also post this so that maybe there can be a more consistent message relayed to guests that lose items of this ride. I know there are many cms on mousewait and maybe this could be constructive in creating a better informed outcome. The hat is not the important thing to me it was all the misinformation that wasted my time and energy and gas.
