I'm an Australian so please excuse me, but what is this celebration? Please explain it to me. When we were there we saw these teenagers with one in a wedding dress and bridesmaids but they looked waaaaaaay too young to be getting married. Maybe it was this celebration. - TrueFromOzLovesDisney

A quinceaรฑera is a celebration most Latin Americans have when a girl turns 15 yrs old. From childhood to womanhood. It's a huge deal to some. Beautiful dress, dances, huge party. I'm sure someone else will chime in with more info. I chose not to have one... :/ I just don't like attention on me. haha - SleepyTortuga 287.2 #699 1:46AM
A quinceaรฑera, in Mexican culture, is a traditional celebration of a girl becoming a young lady when she reaches 15 years of age. She would have her male family member/relative/friends become her escorts, and they would present her as a lady to everyone in attendance. She would have on a ball gown, and the escorts in tuxes. There would be special ceremony to attend first (Her family is Catholic:Thanksgiving Mass) Then a reception afters where the party REALLY starts lol And it's just her birthday celebration of finally becoming a young lady. ๐ - iPoca. 911.9 #99 1:58AM

You're going to have to find a lil tux for MWDR :D - SleepyTortuga 287.2 #699 2:37AM
I love it! I was in a quince once...but no Mickey. Just a horrible dance partner who stepped on my feet and ended up ripping my dress ๐ - AshleyLynn22
