My friends, I hope you get to enjoy this Memorial Day weekend with the ones you love. In honor of my dear late gramps Joseph Robles, a member of tbe Greatest Generation, who proudly served in the US Army during World War Two. He was stationed in the Aleutian Islands and his missions were over Japan and surrounding areas. I miss you so much and wish I could give you one more hug. ----- Are you honoring someone this Memorial Day? Please share a happy memory about your treasured veteran.
My grandfather was a tailgunner in the army during WWII. He was MIA/POW for some time but did return home. We lost him a year ago on June 4th on my grandma's birthday. I am so grateful Brooklynne got to meet him. He was so proud to hold her. I have pictures of them together and he has the biggest cheesiest smile I have ever seen. He did the best Donald Duck voice. 🇺🇸My Grampa served in both WWI and WWII ! US Navy. Stationed in the South Pacific. In between, he was a Revenuer... Located in Hawaii, catching bootleggers and rumrunners during Prohibition!🍺🍸🔫🔨 - Gia

My grandfather and great uncle served in the Army Air Core during WWII. My great uncle's plane was shot down and they never recovered anything so he is still MIA. We have some amazing pictures that they sent home and I love looking through them often! 🇺🇸 - PirateQueenBriezy

My father served in the Army during WWII. He was there at the landing on D-Day. He died in 1959 when I was 5, 53 years ago today. - Diznimom
