POST REUNION MEETUP! We are taking over the Lounge for an hour to talk about the Reunion -- for those of you who were there, you know Reunion 3.0 was our biggest, most successful event, EVER and it was only possible due to the hard work of our planning team led by Shangz, Dahulagirl, and Experiment818. Last year we were in the Picnic area, this year we had a massive Ball Room at the Disneyland Hotel with the most extensive Raffle I have ever seen! We had a stage, a DJ (thanks DJBreakDown!), an awesome photo booth (thanks H3D), and Dave's famous Disneyland Secrets tour on Saturday! On this post I would like to acknowledge everyone who helped starting with the planning team, to the people who helped with the Raffle, check ins, sound, and anything else. I will be tagging these posts tonight so we can keep everything about the Reunion on one page for future reference.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone at the reunion. My reflections on the weekend: Β I posted the need for WOC fast passes and a MWer went out of his way to get them for me, I went to E818's studio tour and finally met in person the MWer who sent my son a RAK after his head injury a year ago, I went on Dave's tour and bought him a bottle of water, I stayed at the DLH, I saw Admin and yelled MW to him...then met him and his kids, I went to planned meet ups, I went to random meet ups at Trader Sams and the GCA hallway, I met and hugged mrsblue in her pjs, I watched WOC from the VIP area, I donated to the raffle, I won the Tom shoes at the raffle, I gave away reunion button RAKs, I saw a proposal, I bought a MW lanyard, I cried during Heather's song and again during Papa's memorial, I hugged mrsprincecharming and told her "this is more than an app", I laughed when I saw the MW roll, I shared a dinner table with a gal in a crowded restaurant who turned out to be a MWer,Β I saved seats at the reunion for another MWer who was shy, I watched my DarlingGranny be accepted by everyone, I saw her leanΒ forward on the POTC MW boat to make it go faster down the drop, I listened to her talk with amazement and gratitude at Shangz's kindness towards her, I took pictures with her at the photo booth and now have precious souvenirs, I saw her act silly and play and have fun! I said goodnight to a CM on my way out of the park on my last night who turned out to be a MWer.Β I cried when I left.
I can honestly say I participated fully during the entire weekend. Sure there were moments I felt awkward and kind of shy, but I took a deep breath, told myself "we're all just people...everybody poops" and walked up to a stranger and said "Hi, I'm Wendi. Who are you?" That's all it took...I took the initiative. Thank you for a fantastic time. I truly, truly enjoyed every minute of it! - Darlingwendi

Dave's tour Saturday was so fun , hope there are more (hint, hint...Dave!). hi, can't stay long (massive code homework) but wanted to say thanks again to admin, especailly for the tribute (made me think of my mom in Heaven and hope they are meeting each other) and all the crew who stayed up late for days, and still tried to do it all!! I met a few new people, i think mypark, and dan , and the nice couple across the way, and the cupcakes were kind enought to let me walk from the parking lot to the reunion with them. hope once the letdown of "its all over, boohoo" everyone can reflect on the great time they had, even if the only victory for you is that you made it to your first event like me!! thank you again!! - secretagentangel

I want to thank every single MW from Admin and all the staff and volunteers, down to every MW who attended the reunion and those who couldn't but made the meet ups. You are all so kind and loving. Thanks to all the new MW I finally got to meet and especially those much younger ones who invited us to tag along during the day, Such special people you all are to allow a couple of senior MW into your day. It's so good to have friends to share time and memories with when all we have had the last five years living in the desert is family.
