POLL: what is your best and worst Disneyland memory?
My worst was in the 4th grade when I spent weeks and weeks selling candy to fundraise with my school choir so we could go to a competition in Disneyland and I got chicken pox THE DAY before we left...
Best was when my boyfriend and I were literally the only ones in New Orleans square on our last trip because it was night and raining...felt like we had the place to ourselves!
Worst is getting kicked off star tours in 97 because I couldn't buckle the seatbelt. Best is losIng the weight and winning a contest to be one of the first 2000 to ride the relaunch last year - bigben1138

Hm, best is hard to say... A tie between the giant MW meetup after the 3rd reunion or when my friends and I had an amazing afternoon-midnight trip. Worst was when I got my first real migraine while at California Adventure... I felt horrible, it was loud, hot, crowded, it just plain sucked. Plus I almost passed out. ๐ - CM_LionGeek

Best was the first time I walked down Main Street with my daughter. It was my second time, but her first.... I got tears in my eyes, so happy I was able to FINALLY take her. Worst. I got a migraine on our last trip....I feel really bad for the present I left landscaping in the Disneyland hotel grounds. - PeachKay

Best was the first time I went with my husband last year. Worst was when I went as a teen and my sister was in a mood and didn't want to ride anything so we did nothing but waste four people's worth of admission tickets. Was still fun though. - Sheilamo

Best was when my two year old met Minnie for the first time and said to her "I love my Minnie mouse" and *fingers crossed* haven't had any bad ones so far. - bearlove

Worst was on the way to Disneyland from NorCal after driving all night for our daughter's first trip, the grapevine gets closed down right in front of us & we get re-routed. Added 3hrs to the drive & we only had passes for that one day. Best was our oldest getting her bibbidi bobbidi boutique makeover๐ - marsdenmom

Best and Worst was the 50th anniversary. Worst: Imagine everyone from Leap Day all just on Main St. PACKED with no breathing room. Best: EVERYTHING WAS GOLD! They had at least one car/cup/elephant/etc in all gold. There was a golden Hidden Mickey on every attraction! Plus all the celebrities, and all the celebrations! - LaTruce

I was there that day too! One of my best visits ever. - PrincessDuckie 590.8 #190 10:22AM
This is difficult......best would be my first trip during off season. We
had always gone during summer so I never got to experience the parks
with wait times less than and hour for most attractions. So me and two
friend went the week after the holiday season was over in January of
2011 and I had the best time ever. The weather was perfect, I got to
see WOC for the first time, and finally got to ride TSMM because the
line was less than 20 mins! :D I was also with amazing people which made
the trip that much more fun. Worst would be......I honestly don't know.
I don't think I have had a terrible experience at the parks.

Worst: 10 years old first trip to DL ever..there's a picket line at main entrance..(esplanade and DCA were a huge parking lot)..being the little adult that I was, I walked up to a CM patrolling the picket line and asked what was going on...they said the characters were on strike! What do you mean, I asked...he went on to tell me, you know Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck etc, there all on strike...I looked back at the picket line and saw people...not truly understanding...he must've saw the confusion on my face, because he said, you know that's all pretend...it's costumes and stuff...still fully not comprehending, I went back to my Aunt who heard everything and was mortified! So my first DL trip had no characters EVER...Best: this past weekend!! Reunion Rocked! - Shangz

Geez, he could have just said the employees were disagreeing with the other employees and that is it. - Lelundrial 344.9 #437 11:03AM
:-( That's so sad the cm did that. - Fanatic4Disney 258.3 #937 11:09AM
I would say my best Disneyland memory was going to Disneyland after my boyfined was killed in afghanstsin. Going to DL was the first time I smiled and laughed and ate in almost a week and a half after he died. Going to DL after he died was a special memory because that was our favorite place to go together. The worest memory was going to Disneyland after he died and watching the flag retreat. It really it home to me. Im pretty sure everyone around me thought I was crazy because I just broke down crying. - Flyingtoneverland
