Really? how did that work? - madsdad 1129.4 #72 11:18PM
Al Michaels is pretty cool about it. He jokes that he's the only person in history to have been traded for a cartoon. - VeloMouseGirl 549.7 #202 11:33PM
Al Michaels was still under contract with ABC and ESPN(owned by Disney)and Disney wanted the rights to Oswald back(which was owned by Universal who owns NBC). Al Michaels wanted to go back to work with his buddy John Madden who worked for NBC. So Bob Iger made a deal with Universal for the rights to Oswald and released Michaels from his contract so he could sign with NBC. - MightyWhitey 648.3 #165 11:48PM
