I'm looking for a safe and reasonably inexpensive hotel for one night by Disneyland... I wasn't sure where I might find this info on MW or if I am even posting in the right area?

Go to the Disneyland Resort website and see "Places to Stay" section.  You can click on Good Neighbor hotels and compare. :D - Alicewhoareyou  2550.5 #53 6:30PM
The Howard Johnson partners with Mousewait and provides a discount too. It's booked up this weekend though. - Alicewhoareyou  2550.5 #53 6:33PM
First off Welcome to the lounge! πŸ˜ƒ second, there is all kinds of great posts about hotels on here! Try doing a search. There is even a great post by Jaimz about how to score a $50ish dollar hotel on Priceline. Also, the resource tab has rates for the hojo! Hope that helps! Good luck! πŸ‘ - Duchess_SMK  6340.7 #18 6:33PM
Thank you Duchess_SMK! I've posted on here before, but just not as much as everyone else ;) But I LOVE reading everyone elses posts and occassionally reply. Everyone is always so helpful! - teastal  119.6 #3240 6:51PM
I second the name-your-own-price from priceline!! 3 1/2 star hotel for $69/night? yes please. - GoofyMom77  904.1 #203 6:36PM
It's been hit or miss for me with the Priceline name your own price thing. Are you looking for walking distance or are you planning to park at the parking lot/structure? - Jillian  767.1 #244 6:41PM
I have an AP so I can park in the structure. I live 70 miles from Disneyland, but am going to go to the Cars Land preview on the 9th of June at 8 am. I am also going on the 8th with some friends so I figured I would just get a hotel for the night. I am going to have my 3 yr old with me, and just try to be cautious of where I stay. - teastal  119.6 #3240 6:55PM
Anaheim Plaza Inn and Suites, super close (it's like a 5 min walk to the security bag check) and very reasonable prices off season around $59, summer prices around $89. Nothing fancy and older buildings but we always have clean rooms and the staff is friendly. - LisaMouse7531  410.1 #544 6:43PM
The desert inn and suites is pretty cheap and literally right across the street. Just a very basic hotel. But because it is right across the street the only ppl staying there are ppl going to Disneyland so it's not scary haha - TaleAsOldAsTime  3.2 #36510 6:46PM
I got mine at priceline for $51 plus taxes through their name your own price. It's a 3 star at the Holiday Inn. Try it. - sallyg  239.0 #1483 6:52PM
When Howard Johnson is booked up, I use priceline. Haven't been disappointed so far. Have stayed at Crowne Plaza & Doubletree for $65-70/night. Both had free shuttles. - bambirn  108.8 #3453 7:01PM
The Best Western Park Place is a great hotel and it is right across the street from the park. - goofy06  541.4 #380 7:02PM
We've stayed at the Quality Suites and the Alamo for cheap and it was safe and clean. - rexy650  257.7 #1277 7:23PM
