Has anyone had any good or bad experiences yet with the new Gras Nite format? I am particularly interested in hearing from CMs. My students are going on the 23rd and are asking questions I can't answer.
Maybe post some of he questions u can't answer so we can help you. - JenInWonderland

How are they deciphering between grad and non grads when clearing the park? Once grads are in how do they keep them from leaving the property or do they? Once the grads go through initial security check how do they keep them from bringing in banned items? How have the mixed crowds been? Any heavier than usual? - dznymamma

I'm fairly certain grads get wristbands to decipher them from regular guests. They are allowed to park hop during the day then once Disneyland closes they are "locked" in until a certain time when they are able to park hop again. Not sure how they are preventing the grads to leve with the regular crowds. After security check there really is no way to prevent banned items if they are snuck in. But I think security is stricter during the grad nights. BaseballMickey_CM has worked some grad nights. So far and said the crowds haven't been bad and it was fine with them mixed in with the regular crowds. You should check out his profile as he has some information about grad nights posted and maybe he will see this and clear up anything I'm not aware of. - JenInWonderland 1025.1 #86 12:21PM
I have worked many grad nights and they, for the most part go well. As you
can imagine we are dealing with a bunch of 17-18 year olds and the normal
shenanigans ensue. Security and other CMs are
plentiful to keep an eye out. - BalooTBear

Your students are allowed to play in both parks as soon as they arrive until park closing. Before they start, they must get a wristband (specific color for that Grad night). When the park closes, security will clear the park of day guests and only the grads will be able to go on attractions and stores. Then between the start of grad night to 0230, they are locked in the park they are in (either DL or DCA). - BaseballMickey_CM
