Does anyone know how soon after an incident happens you have to file a complaint? Went yesterday and had an issue with a cast member completely disrespecting my friend who is in the Navy and used profanity. We're thinking about filing a complaint.
One time we had an issue with a cm and we went back like 4 days later. turns out hes had complaints on him before and we dont see him there anymore. I dont get why they work at a great place and be all upset at us for nothing. - theREBELspy

Obviously not every CM "gets it" no matter how diligently Disney screens. Most do, and they are awesome! Also, we don't know the pressures each CM may be under each given moment. - MelodyMouse 941.9 #92 11:52AM
It doesn't matter where you go, there will always be some people who hate their job. - Mouse4life 1075.3 #79 11:57AM
Maybe the CM was just calling him a seaman? - NotSoDapperDan 303.3 #593 12:57PM
Profanity?! I would. - stratdad

But I'd say the longer you wait the more it weakens yor case. - stratdad 291.1 #662 11:33AM
I've never heard of a time limit. Of course, the sooner the better so the cast member can be directed into improving. There's an email address for Guest Relations under Contact Us on the Disney website. Tell them date, time location and cast member name and city (from badge if you noted it) along w precisely what happened - MelodyMouse

Yeah profanity! We were all shocked. We were there for a special occasion and had shirts made so she asked about the shirts and explained our friend was being restationed to another state so we were all hanging out one last time and she asked what branch of military and what rank he was and she proceeded to call all people in his rank a profane word and continued to basically bash my friend. So we finally just paid and walked away. I just don't remember her name off the top of my head, but can find out from the receipt. - Tink4ever

I'm pretty sure as long as you remember the CM's name, the date, and where it happened you're ok. Now if you wait a month or two to say something I don't know that they will take you very seriously but a day or two shouldn't be a big deal. And as with anything the more detail you can provide, the better. - BlueberryCrusader

I would go to City Hall within the week. You'll need to remember the approx time and date, CMs name, and where it happened. - LaneSparrow316
