Happy National Teacher's Day. Thanks to all that inspire and not only work for 8 hours but usually 24/7. Also thanks for all my favorite teachers who helped push me to pursue my dreams! I ask to all MWers, who was your favorite teacher growing up?
Thank you, educators! My favorite teacher is my dad. He taught junior high for 30 years. He was my 6th grade math teacher, but he's taught me so much more than math over the years. I think more than anything, he helped instill the values and ethics that I have today, but in terms of academics, he taught me to have integrity and to be an engaged and curious learner, no matter what. 😊 - Spoonful_O_Sugar

Oh wow I didn't know it was National Teachers Day! And my mom is a teacher. But my favorite teacher growing up was my 4th grade teacher Mr Cardoza. He would always do fun stuff in class and I have lots of good memories from that year. He would encourage us by telling us that if we all got A's and B's on our tests he would do cartwheels all across the playground, and he did! We thought that was the best thing ever! Years later when I was in high school and struggling with math, he would take time out of his day to help tutor me and my friend who was also in his 4th grade class. - Jillian
