I apologize if this sounds like a dumb question but I'm honestly just trying to find an answer...we booked our Disneyland vacation through Disneyland.com. We are staying for more days than what you can purchase park hoppers for (actually just one day more). It wouldn't let me add 3 extra 1day park hopper tickets to the online reservation. Does anyone know if I can just call their reservations line tomorrow and have them add them to our package? I appreciate any help people can lend :)
We found last summer that it was actually 50.00 less each for us to purchase annual passes than park hoppers for the amount of days we stayed. Also we got 35% off of our stay at the Grand Californian because we were passholders. (not to mention other in park discounts) just something to think about... - brittandkell

Especially considering that you get nice food discounts in the park with an AP too right? Almost every time I made a purchase there this week they asked if I was an AP holder - jalensmommy 150.1 #2334 9:18PM
I would have just placed the order over the phone in the first place. They have deals that online doesn't have plus it is more magical that way. - HotDiggityDogDaddy

Well shoot had I known it would have been a more magical experience I would have hopped on that band wagon sooner! - DisneyDreamer18 168.4 #2059 9:04PM
I am not too impressed with their online booking system - kinda archaic. - HotDiggityDogDaddy 1112.4 #73 9:06PM
I will definitely tell them H3D sent me, maybe I wil get a bigger discount by saying your name lol! - DisneyDreamer18 168.4 #2059 9:10AM
If you're going for that many days maybe you should look at the Deluxe APs? It seems like they might be close in price but I am just speaking off the cuff I didn't do the math. But H3D is right. Call Disney and have them put it together for you. I called Disney to book our WDW vacation next month and we had some additional discount I didn't know about and that didn't show up when I used the website under my existing account. It saved us some serious money. - BlueberryCrusader

Wow I really appreciate everyone's help! I will call them tomorrow to see if I missed out on some specials or anything for when we booked. We have thought about annual passes but we only go once a year for 6-7 days so I don't know if it would be worth it for us? - DisneyDreamer18

I would definitely call. I think they are really good about changing reservations. We live in Portland, OR and we usually only go once a year. If you are able to schedule it right, you can go back just under 12 months mark before your passes expire and get 2 uses out of them. The first time we got our Premium APs we were going to be in the park for 9 days so we both needed premium for no block out days. Next time we know we will only be in the park for 5, so only 1 of us needs to get a premium for the discounts and the other person gets a 5 day park hopper. We saved hundreds with the AP discount. - Fanatic4Disney 258.3 #937 9:18AM
I completetly agree with everyone, plus calling and talking to a CM on the phone is a perfect way to customize your magical trip. Happy planing! - Donaldfan_532

If you have a little flexibility in your scheduling get your APs and next year plan your trip before they expire so you get 2 visits. That would have to be less than park hoppers. - mike714

That's what we are going to do! Buy annual passes in October and use them for that trip, one in May and one the end of September 2013. Three trips, God willing. :) We are 1100 or so miles away, but I keep thinking of the money we will save. - PeachKay 310.8 #571 9:07AM
See we always go end of November (right after Thanksgiving for a week) because the Christmas time is our favorite). Well now you all have my wheels turning and I'm going to have to call and see if just getting us annual passes will be cheaper. - DisneyDreamer18

You can always call and if all else fail hit the ticket booths and upgrade the tics to annual passes - TikiJOSEsWingman
