Watching The Hunchback of Notre Dame. I love this movie, I think it's so under appreciated. Esmeralda is easily one of my favorite Disney heroines :)
What is your favorite Disney films that you feel deserves more attention?
Hi Aqua! π I'd say Mulan.. she needs more attention! - gigibunny2

Hiiii *wavies* Well she has quite a bit of merchandise :)
And she's walking around Disneyland stil. Her kimono is beautiful πΈ - Aquata 292.2 #660 7:55PM
She is a beautiful princess! Glad she is still around but I always miss her - gigibunny2 242.7 #1081 7:58PM

I agree with the Hunchback of Notre Dame. I feel its under appreciated because its the darkest Disney film, though that shouldn't be an excuse. Despite that, its such an amazing film and it also has one of my favorite film scores :D It's not like the original story though but yet again not most of the Disney films go along with the original story. Either, I love the Hunchback of Notre Dame! - Ain1derland

Yes, it's a loose re-telling. I love how the theme in this and Pocahontas is that different doesn't mean bad. Also, even as a kid, I remember kind of liking this movie. I thought Quasi was actually sweet and I wanted to be like Esmeralda. I even had the doll of her! - Aquata 292.2 #660 2:36PM
Same here! I was Esmerelda for Halloween and had a Barbie of her! This was a really great film and so underrated.. I miss the festival they had at Disneyland with all the confetti! - SarahJoshDisney 69.5 #3420 2:54PM
I never got to even go to the festival once!! Last year (maybe it was the year before...)I heard they had Esmeralda in the park for one day only and I missed it π - Aquata 292.2 #660 3:13PM
Oh I loved that festival! One of the few things I recall from my childhood :) I had an Esmeralda costume and I once took a picture with her :) - Ain1derland 325.5 #500 9:09PM
That was surprisingly good considering it got panned. Treasure Planet is on that I don't think it got the credit it deserved. The family enjoyed it! - Autoalice

Oh that's another one of my favorites. I whole heatedly agree. That one made me teary eyed once or twice. - Aquata 292.2 #660 1:58PM
Me too! I can see WHY it isn't as appreciated because it has some pretty adult themes in it and it was a pretty big step away from films like TLM and Aladdin. But now as an adult I think it's such a good movie with a great message. Frollo is such a great villain!! - Aquata 292.2 #660 2:06PM
Pocahontas hands down. I'm shocked they don't have any merchandise at the park. One of their best films by far. - nabbott

THAT is another one of my favorites too. I know a lot of people complained that it wasn't historically accurate but that aside its a great story, beautifully animated with awesome songs ;)
Pocahontas is my second favorite princess next to Ariel π - Aquata 292.2 #660 2:14PM
Agreed! I practically went postal to get my hands on a Meeko plush when they went in to the Disney stores a couple months back. So undervalued. AND I DON"T CARE WHAT YOU SAY, POCAHONTAS IS DAUGHTER OF THE CHEIF THEREFORE IS A PRINCESS! - SteamboatMinnie 309.9 #563 10:26PM
Hercules without a doubt. My all time favorite Disney movie. - TinkerbellBallerina
42.2 #3934 2:21PM
Hercules surprises me that it isn't generally regarded as one of Disney's best. It has all the elements that the other greats had (minus prince and princesses but that replaced with Gods and Goddesses). - Aquata 292.2 #660 2:23PM
hercules, a goofy movie, and the emperor's new groove are three of my very favourite movies. i used to watch a goofy movie almost daily (this was only a year ago). i want a llama plush!! - nicoleface

Oh man, I haven't seen a Goofy Movie in forever but I do remember loving it as a kid! You inspired me to watch it Nicole. And ENG was hilarious. "Waterfall?" "Yep." "Bring it on." - Aquata 292.2 #660 2:39PM
You threw off my groove! - KissDclown 1088.1 #77 2:54PM
you will not regret it!!! "I 2 I" and "stand out" are my jamsss. - nicoleface 1279.9 #65 3:14PM
The emperor's new groove! I love that movie! Boom, baby! - theRealDisneygirlforevr

She's beautiful and actually a pretty well rounded heroine. My husband has a crush on her and Jasmine - Aquata 292.2 #660 7:56PM
I like this movie! I had a crush on the jester guy...yes, I know, I'm weird :). - kss4tink

That isn't weird at all. I know a lot of people who had a crush on Clopin ;) - Aquata 292.2 #660 7:34PM
I also know many who have a crush on Peter Pan and he's like...eternal...jailbait o.o - Aquata 292.2 #660 7:35PM
Haha, yes, Peter would be forever jailbait lol! - kss4tink 216.8 #1399 10:03PM

Can't watch Mert the Robinsons without shedding a tear. Goob is hilarious and the Robinson family is too fun! - joyfulmomma 229.4 #1252 12:34AM

The lion king. Didn't get nearly enough publicity. And the score was good but they had some no name guydo all the singing. Probably just trying to keep the budget under control. - LittleAprilShowers

If they re release it in 3d i bet it would do well though. - madsdad 1130.7 #72 10:31PM
